    Besides adding insulation, this will make a big difference. You need to make sure the condensate drain is at the bottom of your bundle going through the wall to avoid puddling and possible leaking inside the building. Just put a 24k unit in my new 24x32 shop in Arizona-R15 k insulation in 10' walls, R30 going in the 14' vaulted ceiling. Not done with ceiling insulation, but can still cool shop to 70* when it's 110*+ outside!

    The Nylog sealer can go on the treads but it also needs to go on the seat (flared part) just a little.

    The only thing you should now consider for the future is insulation. It will make your HVAC much more efficient and waste less power.
