When comparing old small icons, it would be nice to display both a zoomed in image and original size image in the corner to see the icon it was intended to be seen :)

1:28 Microsoft made a really rude mistake. Windows 11 icon is incorrect. It's incorrect since Microsoft moved personalisation into settings.

That icon is available in the control panel. When using category mode look at the icon for Appearance and Personalization.

@@MrKotoCraft yes its true. All the personalization settings are in the settings app now. It is not possible to change themes and background in the windows 7 style menu unless you use winaero tweaker.

I think in Windows 11 there are only 2 good things: round corners and icons.

File Explorer: The magnifying glass has been removed. A new blue rectangle was added.
Notepad: The notepad was closed, and a third line was added to the lid.
Calculator: The calculator was redesigned. All but 8 buttons were removed. The buttons were made much bigger. The screen was also made bigger.
Folder: The pixels were removed.
Paint: The bucket was removed. All but one of the brushes were removed. A paint pallette was added.
Movies: The icon was redesigned.

I’m watching this and thinking that a Windows 95 and Windows 7 icon comparison might be more interesting.
Windows 7 is late in the evolution, but similarities still exist. Windows 11 is too far down the line. The icons are completely different.
