Maddy Joe Bonomassa will blow your mind. He has a huge catalog of music. Not to mention he’s probably the best guitarist in the world
A couple of duets with Beth Hart, "I'd Rather Go Blind"< and "I'll Take Care of You" are definitely worth watching. Love your reactions.
Joe and Beth together on "I'd Rather Go Blind" is pure fire.
This is from “Joe Bonamassa Live From the Royal Albert Hall”. It’s a fantastic album!
Badass man can play
One of THE BEST guitarist alive today......
I understand that he wears the glasses because of the bright lights on stage. But you're right; it's a cool look. And I echo those suggesting his duets with Beth Hart, "I'd Rather Go Blind" and "I'll Take Care of You." Both are killer.
He has a eye problem and the light hurts his eyes, causes him allot of pain
The growth Joe has shown over the last 10 or so years is incredible!!
The Meaning Behind The Song : Joe Bonamassa drew inspiration from personal experiences and the universal theme of lost love.
My favorite guitarist 👍🤛
A couple of other legends on that stage with Joe to his right, drummer Antone Fig and bassist Michael Rhodes. Also a regular part of his band for years is legendary keyboardist Reese Wynans. Any band that Joe puts on stage with him is absolutely top notch. Even the back-up singers that tour with him include the types of Mahalia Barns. Absolutely amazing to see live. I will be seeing him next month for my fourth time. I am really looking forward to it.
sorry, wrong lineup - the bassist here is Carmin Rojas. Michael didn't join up with Joe for quite a few years after
These Albert Hall gigs are prime listening. The audience was well favoured😊Fab Les Paul tone.
Great Reaction Thanks for being a bright light in this crazy world❤❤❤ This is a great song.

What a great song and song choice!
First time I heard it, and liked it at once. I’m familiar with JB and in my opinion he’s one of the few guitarists performing today that compare to the greatest guitarists of the late 1960’s and 70’s. At 12 he was considered a guitar prodigy, and performed on stage with legendary BB King. One of his greatest performances is with Beth Hart where they performed I’d Rather Go Blind.
You should hear his, Goin' Down.
I totally agree with you the live version from the greek theatre
Would love for you to check out Joe Bonamassa - Stop! Live at the Royal Albert Hall. It’s an incredible performance
The Bluest Blues by Alvin Lee ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sounds like the background music of Jean Claud van dam, movie ever made,.... so of course I love it,🤣🤣💯
Wow Maddy, you did Joe. More please !! He will never disappoint. And Joe and Beth Hart. Are you kidding me ? Daaaang !!
Hi Maddy we have seen him live four times first time several years ago at music midtown Atlanta before most people never heard of him
Always enjoy joe ,great guitar players
The entire concert (on DVD) from The Royal Albert Hall in London, is fantastic. Joe even invites Eric Clapton to the stage.
At the second solo his guitare sounds like a stradivarius. Perhaps his best solo ever..
I agree with no sunglasses indoors but I’ve played gigs where the stage lighting was so bright I either needed them or wish I had them.
Love Joe! Those are transition lenses which darken under the stage lights.
Beautiful
Makes ne think of one of my deceased sisters. My biggest advocate. Great Song.
I always interpreted this song as a relationship break up/ reminiscing and introspection
Pretty damn good. Sunglasses? Channeling his inner Roy Orbison. Yah, you are right. The Bliss of innocence.
Love it
Hey Jimmy Barnes and Joe Bonamassa stone cold 😊Mahalia Barnes and Joe Bonamassa Riding with the kings
Stone Cold will surprise you because Joe has a secondary role with his guitar & Jimmy Barnes vocals is just SHOCKING & fits the song!!! Jimmy is also the dad of Mahalia Barnes, one of Joe's backup singers. But I strongly endorse the suggestion that you give STONE COLD a try!!!
Joe Bonamassa said in an interview that he has to wear the dark sunglasses on stage because they use extremely bright spotlights shining right at him and his eyes are light sensitive.
This is a beautiful song, great choice! I'd love to see you react to Midnight in Harlem by Tedeschi Trucks Band.
Joe is very light sensitive, hence the glasses. I am too and at times have to wear glasses inside. Just the way the light is diffused thru the clouds can hurt my eyes. Certain lighting inside can too.
Yes please, Crank it up. 😂❤😂❤😂❤
If you want to listen to Joe with a bigger band (but only one drummer!), I like anything from the "Live at the Greek Theatre" album. Two favorites are "Hummingbird" and "Angel of Mercy".
Be well.
Joe The King 🤟
How about Joe's blues deluxe!❤
you can definitely hear Gary Moore's influence in his playing! many bands out there with 2 drummers, Allman Brothers Band for one, they (the 2 drummers) are the true masters of this having 5 decades of playing together under their belts!!
A totally, he said he wares the sunglasses because the stage lights hurt his eyes.
I think you need to listen to the words again. You're really over thinking it!
He's singing about having been dumped, despite trying to do everything right in the relationship (finally). Now, all he can do, is remember the happier times. He claims he wrote it after an actual break up. Pretty much classic blues!😊
He wares the sunglasses because the stage lights hurt his eyes.
Cool is wearing your sunglasses at night. PERIOD. To clarify...one must be cool to wear them...hence the catch.
Yeah and Joe can get away with wearing the dark glasses indoors like that because he has an eye problem also. The bright lights really hurt his eyes. You should see his regular glasses they're kind of thick! I heard that the sunglasses he's wearing are actually prescription.
He wares sunglasses because the stage lights hurt his eyes.
Another must is Stevie Ray Vaughan. He is the Goat
🤓🙌🏽😍
Do joes mountain time worth it
As comments said he was getting over a breakup. Worse came I believe he had another relationship who he was promoting she got pregnant but the baby was apparently not white. How much greif 😢😢😢😢😢❤❤
This was just after he broke up with his long time girlfriend ....I think is what he's referring to
Definitely need to watch Joe and Beth Hart perform “I’d rather go blind” live. It is very compelling and I’m sure you would very much enjoy it.
The real Music...PERIOD! It takes real musicians to make real music! Not the clap trap they are electronically producing today! Seal😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I think he’s referring to his personal life, not music!🤷🏻♂️
Seal? I love seal, but no
