A sociopath would take the stand, much like a perpetrator would defend itself. She loves this attention. She is smug and really staring at the witnesses in a horribly accusatory way. I think she wrote her own fantasy in books and thought she was so smart. If you don't sob at much of those first witnesses, something is seriously wrong.

Anyone else think it really odd that a few weeks before this Mr Brophy sustained a cut on his hand due to “the shower glass shattering ? What drew my attention was when Mrs B said, “he’s having a bad week” after describing this incident whilst being told of her husbands death, and then saying “ oh that sounds bad or inappropriate” or something like that. Too right love, that’s the point I thought guilty as hell, and then I thought, was the shower shattering planned ? I mean I’ve never heard of anything like that happening ever. If she testifies I’d roast her on that comment and then questioning her re the shower incident.

Good catch @debs440606 She also took Dan on a cruise, and she'd happened to mention that murder on a cruise (as far as I remember, in her AMZN profile) might be the way to go. Shawn Overstreet is doing a great job. I’ve been watching this trial every day. He’s painting a damning picture of what happened that morning. It is NOT normal to have that many life insurance policies . It was laughable that Maxfield in her opening statement said Nancy was a strong believer in life insurance, as if that is a believable reason for Nancy to have so many policies on her husband. Nancy really thought she came up with a genius way to get away with murdering her husband because of all the “research” she’s done for her writing
