You're welcome, I'm glad you liked it! For 3 weeks traveling with a checked bag, I'd recommend this medium or large-sized one from TravelPro - amazon.rockporch.com/prdlink/iFqnZYJZYO plus my favorite Samsonite backpack - amazon.rockporch.com/prdlink/P4z4eSHhKs If you like traveling lighter and are worried about space on smaller international airlines, then I might go for this 19" carry-on by Delsey - amazon.rockporch.com/prdlink/8BaUMw6vRO plus my favorite Samsonite backpack - amazon.rockporch.com/prdlink/P4z4eSHhKs Try to re-wear items and pack things that are versatile so you can save space and make it easier to travel from city to city. I also love using these compression packing cubes to help me fit more items in less space - amazon.rockporch.com/prdlink/j4sJnoURyD
I have 3 rolling suitcases from Delsey. I thought they were of great value. But the wheels seems to be made with hardened caramel. They melt and disintegrate very quickly. Unless you can replace them yourself, it is costly to fix the wheels. One was under warranty and they replaced all the wheels and while i was waiting for the world to open up after the pandemic, the wheels has begun melting again. Note to self, never buy branded bags. Cheap bags last longer.
Hardened caramel lmao!!!!!! I ended up going with Samsonite Outline Pro 21" and 24" . Had all the bells and whistles and got them on sale. 2 of the 21 inch and 2 of the 24 inch for 700. Normal price would have been 1700. I still think it's way too much but 🤷♂️
Thanks so much for this awesome review! I've been debating between a Delsey or a Beis suitcase. I just added the Travelpro to my possibility list as well. 😅 I really need to narrow it down!
Hello, I just ran across your channel. Can you please tell me how many suitcases you recommend to take to move to Mexico. I heard clothes are cheap there. Thank you for your channel.
Thanks, this gives me something to think about and look for. I'm thinking of getting the VERAGE Rome 2pc set (20/29) and one of the main reasons is I completely agree with you; Two zippers is the way to go😉 What do you think... are they a good choice, have you used them?
@@TheAbundantTraveler Thanks! ☺will be good to hear your opinion. I found a review where they tested scratching and puncturing it, dropped it a bunch, the zippers like a million times and wheels for miles and it passed them all, so I jumped in and ordered the two piece 20/28in set. They only had one set left in the color I wanted so I went for it.
It is more advisable to buy a 28 or 29 inch expandable suitcase rather than the 24 or 25 inch ones. For one, most travellers will buy or shop for some clothes or fancy items during their vacation and will find enough space for those purchased items on their way home. A 28 or 29 inch suitcase will not add much additional weight as they are made of polycarbonate and those wheels cum handles remain the same. If anyone has any idea how those baggage handlers handle the heavy packed luggage, one will definitely not go for the expensive ones. Furthermore, most airlines even the premium airline like Singapore Airlines will not compensate for broken wheels and handles which I find rather ridiculous. At least Cathay Pacific Airways bother to repair it for them at their expense. Hence it is best to invest in a reasonable price but good luggage without breaking the bank. After all, who's going to pack valuable items in them other than some old shoes, worn clothes and dirty socks and underwear. 🤣
@The Abundant Traveler I ended up going with Samsonite Outline Pro. The line Macy's carries. The carry on is good size and has usb port for charging and it also has the divider thing with a couple of pockets and i think even the wet pocket. I went with the carry on and the slightly bigger one for check in.
Hello, How is the carry on size Travelpro Maxlite air working out so far. Is one that I am considering a long with a few others like the Target Essential when is on sale but is heavier. And traveler choice Riverside but don’t expand. Hard to decide as on paper all of them have good features. Riverside listed to weight 4.5lb. Thanks
@@TheAbundantTravelerthat good to know, When you expand the carry on do you have to leave the interior zipper open to be able to use the extra space? Or when you expand it actually increase the space under one side zipper. Hope you understand my question, it just hard to see on the video and their webpage. Thanks

Great ! Just what I was looking for. Many thanks.
What about the size ? Which one for a 3 weeks trip travelling through a country .

Zippers break. I would only consider latches.
That’s a great tip. Thanks for sharing.
So happy I discovered your channel! I am sold on the Travelpro.. planning to use it for a Greek Isle cruise 😊
Hope you enjoy it! Don't forget to like and share for more contents like this 😊
Thank you so much for this! Would you recommend the travelpro Maxlite air or the Samsonite Ziplite?
You're welcome! I like both brands a lot, but if I had to choose, I'd say the TravelPro Maxlite Air: amazon.rockporch.com/prdlink/iFqnZYJZYO
I’ve been doing a lot of research and landed on that exact travelpro 😂 feel validated, think I should order it haha.
You should! Thank you for watching the video!

Exactly !!It's all about branding. Sometimes the quality is not as good as that of niche brands.

How do you use the packing bands?

I have not tried Verage, but I will look them up. Thanks for sharing your comments and thanks for watching a video.

May I ask if you have a 2nd and 3rd place?
In addition to travelpro, I also like Samsonite and Delsey

How deep is the delsey?
I don’t know, but you can check the description below for the Amazon link.
Are you sure the Travelpro is ten years???
I’ve used TravelPro suitcases for years. I love them.
@@TheAbundantTravelerI do as well but I think the Maxlite you are reviewing doesn't have a ten year warranty. Maybe I am mistaken
Too bad you only reviewed clamshell style. I really find them to be impractical, heavy/hard to open, and require too much flat space to open.
This was a video about hard sided suitcases, and I will be doing a soft sided suitcase before long.

Thank you so much!!!
How many times do you get told you look like Kristin Chenoweth?
You are the first. Thanks for the compliment. :-)
@@TheAbundantTraveler I can’t believe it! You could be her sister, but you’re taller!

it is no wonder you think these brands are the best ones if you have never experenced eminent :P
No, I haven’t tried them. Thank you for the recommendation. I’ll check them out. Thanks for watching the video.
