Max as a filmmaker this is one of the best videos I’ve seen on Blender. There is literally so much that you can do and so many things I’ve seen different folks do, but not a comprehensive video that kind of acts as a Lookbook of storytelling possibilities. This really helped me get my head together!
thanks a lot for creating such videos which gives us inspirations. We really want to see some full tutorials on real video footage and 3d animations. Lots of love from India 🙌❤
Great video, Max! I found it incredibly informative and I want to thank you for sharing your knowledge. The way you explained everything was clear and concise, making it easy for me to understand. Keep up the excellent work! #Informative
6:57 Do you happen to know/have the reference for this footage, that animation have a sick style and I can't find it by searching the snapshiot image of that frame :( I remember having seen it somewhere but I can't find it back, Well done video, Blender is a great program for sure !
Can we do vampire transformation where a vampire turns into, let's say a little bat while its clothes vanish entirely, definitely like that of Animorph?
Is there anyway I can pay you for a one on one session. Regard creating 3D animated visuals to clip into your music videos. Or just making simple environments. I have all the programs and D3D as well.
Hey Max I love your stuff! I am a college student using after effects and I was wondering if you would suggest learning blender or Cinema 4d. I get C4D for free as a student but there are so many more resources for blender. I really appreciate it!!
Blender really opens up the more you learn it, its basically a swiss army tool that can do anything relatively easily. On the flip side C4D has a very easy to learn UI and if you get something like the Octane plugin it makes cinematic renders easy to pump out once you learn the right render settings and how to make materials. It really depends on what you're trying to make. If you're just pumping out cinematic renders of things I'd go C4D since you dont have the paywall. If you are doing any rigging, modeling, uv things Blender feels way better. Also, i found myself needing to use blender sometimes back when I only knew how to use C4D just to accomplish certain things so factor that in.
Yooooo, Max! I was curious, does your Director 3d plug-in work with the new 3.6 Blender? I copped it like a month or two ago and it's been dope! Not sure why I can't get it to install in 3.6 though.
I’ll do some testing with D3D and 3.6 this week. I’m going to make a page on my website documenting changes made in updates so you should be able to find an updated version there once ready
Bro i used to learn Blender then i got discouraged by the render time, any tip ? lso is it worth maybe jumpin' to unreal engine, it looks more render time friendly but idk yet...
In terms of beginner friendly I think blender is much easier than unreal. For render times try lowering the sample count and stick to eevee if you want things rendered fast
