Imagine meeting a Cuban who speaks Russian and lives in Latvia. Amazing content my friend and your Spanish sounds good. I am from Venezuela but living in 🇺🇸 for over 30 years now. Saludos.
Absolutely lovely conversations, especially with that 90 year old babushka, waiting for a foreigner to marry her at 100. Great job translating this all! Thanks.
Hi Anjen, she was adorable actually and still smiling and joking even though her life seems quite tough One thing is for sure, these are the most resilient people I have ever met. Appreciate the watch time as always👍
Thank you so much Tom. Yes I do, languages is like a hobby of mine, always learning new ones or bettering the ones I know. I never miss an opportunity to practice, so probably more languages in future Videos. Cheers

Do you think it might get some interest???

Justin! You're amazing fellow. I love all your conversations. And I noticed you speak a quite few different languages? Which one was the most difficult to learn for you? Where are you from England? What city....? I see you can easily make the contact with strangers...I wish you happy & safe travelling ........Best regards from the USA
Hi Jerry, Thank you so much for the kind comment. I am from London but have been travelling for years now. I could say the most challenging language was Russian, but not difficult All the best mate and thank you for watching and commenting 👍👌

Hi John... They sure did. The market is located right behind the train station and the bus station, and take a wrong turn and you could end up meeting some interesting characters🤪🤣 But it is all part of the adventure. Thanks for watching👍
Hello mate. Generally they are... And even if they don't appear to be at first, like the woman selling the glasses, behind the cold facade they are really kind. As always thank you for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it👌
If you are now living in Latvia, why aren't you learning to speak Latvian? It seems like you are quite eager to speak Russian to everybody. It's commendable that you are so proficient in Russian, but the native Latvians would appreciate an attempt to speak in their own language, not the language of the former occupiers! Sorry, if this offends you, but it would be nice to give the impression that this is Latvia, not Russia! Labu laimi!
Hello and thank you for your comment. I hope you realise that this is not all of my life I put on camera but only a tiny portion!!! Having made that clear, let me try and explain. 1. I don't think at any point of the Video or any video have I ever said I was not learning Latvian. As a matter of fact I am even though I realize that one day when I no longer live in Latvia it will probably serve me more as a novelty language than one I would use regularly. 2. I am confident that the people that watch my videos want to get some local interaction and unfortunately at the present time I am only able to do that in about six languages and Latvian is not yet one of them, but we are working on changing that!!! 3. Practicing my limited knowledge of Latvian on camera would not make for much educational or entertaining content. 4. I certainly did not take any offense by your comment and I hope you understand that I mean no offense when I speak Russian because to me it is an amazing, rich language that I love to practice with no historical or political motive. I hope this may shed some light on your concerns. All the best!
