I think it’s because 2ne1 was trained to be the force that broke the ”over trained/immaculate” picture of girl groups. Same reason their looks were punky and edgy. Sometimes even ”ugly” according to the typical standards of that time. She has that edge and punky beauty.

This is what differs 2ne1 members and Bigbang to the newest gen because they are all natural. they are not stiff and have a different strong stage presence. They communicate, they perform and not just simply sings and dance to what was given/taught to them.
CL didn't come to play, she came to slay! No one does it better than her. She tore up this stage and I'm loving it! What a Queen! This Performance is EVERYTHING!
