- Just like that I am two years into my loc journey! Crazy how time has flown. As far as updates go, I have combined ALL locs around my perimeter, just to give them a better foundation. The ends on the top half of my head are maturing slowly but surely. I spray my hair with water every day and oil my scalp about once or twice a week. Still the best hair decision I ever could've made. It's such a chill lifestyle and I love it here.

@@CanonWildz was about every 3 wks or as needed and retwist about every 6 to 8 weeks

Thank u for your video I have tried 3 4 times I started with loc extension wasn't parted right than tried another way they didn't do it right did a two strand twist and that was ok but kept coming loose than flew all the way to Houston Texas and Damian didn't do it right gurl it been a struggle 😢 😕 so I my just use my own hair thank u

@kayceep.morgan7318 I try to wash at least every two weeks. I've never braided and banded.
Your locs are gorgeous. Im nearly 6 years in and considering cutting mine off to start over with comb coils, diamond parting, and a tad bit smaller. How many locs did you start with?

What products do you use to retwist your hair? And how often do you retwist?
So sorry for the late reply! I use very little products...water to spray my hair in 5he morning, a little oil for my scalp, and I retwist about every 2 months right now, give or take a week or 2.

What do you use to make your hair grow ?
Nothing specific that I do...I just try not to mess with it too much and let them do their thing.
How many locs do you have?
I have no idea. I haven't counted them.
