I found your channel and it lead me to look up different people reviewing horror books. Let me just say, you are probably the only one who’s videos I can watch all the way through the end 😅 thanks for sharing!
The Boys in the Valley was truly amazing, well The Exorcist is my all time favorite book. Small town Horror....YES!!!! He went there and I appreciate his boldness and ability to seamlessly round out his new novel. Not sure if you've read All the Sinners Bleed and The Reformatory...they're life changing.
What a solid list! I was happy to see that I had read most of these but that you mentioned several I hadn't. The TBR grows! If you loved Boys in the Valley, you should most definitely read Don't Let Them Get You Down by Philip Fracassi. I actually enjoyed that one even more.
Ray Nayler - The Mountain in the sea, B. Cox/J. Forshaw -Black Holes (the key to undestanding the universe), Neil De Grasse Tyson - Starry Messenger. Cosmic perspectives on civilization, John Wyndham - The day of the Triffids
Favorites of the year : Voices in The Snow by Darcy Coates (😅 i swear i'll have another book eventually to comment), Out on a Limb by Hannah Bonam-Young, Dear Medusa by Olivia A. Cole, and The Unmaking of June Farrow by Adrienne Young
I have been reading TONS of Darcy Coates this year. She's such an amazing writer. Kinda YA but still awesome- her recent Where He Can't Find You is really good for a soul cleansing chills read.
Great round-up of books - thanks for the video. My 5 star Horror Reads, so far this year: Revelator, by Daryl Gregory The Lonely Lands, by Ramsey Campbell The Sorrows of Satan, by Marie Corelli (an oldie, 1895!) Other 5 star reads for me this year, that I think are worth mentioning to a Horror fan: Prairie Edge, by Conor Kerr The Magicians, by J. B. Priestley (from 1954) Honourable Mention - some pure 1980s Horror: Night Stone, by Rick Hautala
I'm not sure if you have read these books, but if you haven't you should check them out. They have been my favorite reads this year. I didn't see them on your goodreads (except for the last one) Penance by Kanae Minato/Philip Gabriel In The Tall Trees by Angel N. Van Atta Brother by Ania Ahlborn Come Closer by Sara Gran and Tender is the flesh. I know you said that you really liked this book. So did I, it was so good
Not sure if youve talked about this one yet but I'd love to see a video on Augustina Bazterrica, Tender is the Flesh and Nineteen Claws and a Blackbird are some of my favorite horror books. Also editing to add in the book Brother by Ania Ahlborn, i think its a sightly more tame variation of your general brand of fucked up, very very good.
I died too, but they haven’t buried me yet by Ross Jeffery is a must! It hit me right in the gut. It’s grief horror book so if you like that subgenre of horror, I highly suggest it!
I really liked The Necrophiliac. I listened to The Cement Garden on audio and…well I think I should have read it instead. I didn’t really enjoy it and I think that was due to the narration. 😟 Looking forward to reading Boys in the Valley!
Wow so much helpfull information in this video, I personally don't like to promote anything in the comments but I simply have to share this book that I found called Money Grins the greatest book if you want to be successful
How many of you would like a “Rare & obscure/one of a kind horror books” video?
Your love for these books is definitely making me want to read some of them!
My favorite book from this month is When Darkness Loves Us by Elizabeth Engstrom.

Anda, have you read anything by Tony Burgess? I would recommend 'The n-Body Problem' or 'People Live Still in Cashtown Corners'.
Enjoying the channel. Thank you. Keep it up.
My two standouts for this year have been 'Satan Burger' by Mellick, and 'Norstrilia' by Cordwainer Smith.
That shirt tho!
My favorite book I read this year was Nick Cave's 'And The Ass Saw The Angel', as it is every year

Love your reviews!
I’m going to start reading Ronald Malfi now
I died too, but they haven’t buried me yet by Ross Jeffery is a must! It hit me right in the gut. It’s grief horror book so if you like that subgenre of horror, I highly suggest it!
A new Anda Kent video 😁
Also I have a question: I emailed you on Goodreads but you didn’t reply. Was just wondering if you received it or not thanks ❤
The best book I've read so far this year is Guns of the Dawn by Adrian Tchaikovsky (not horror). I am now obsessed and want to read everything by him.
Are you still filming videos
Richard Laymon definitely write some very creepy books. You should read more of his work if you like harrowing thrillers/horror.
I really liked The Necrophiliac. I listened to The Cement Garden on audio and…well I think I should have read it instead. I didn’t really enjoy it and I think that was due to the narration. 😟 Looking forward to reading Boys in the Valley!
Extreme horror: No One Rides For Free by Judith Sonnet my god that was hard to read.
Hola guapa que opinas de la Biblia
