The best part about a powerdrift review is that you fall in love with every bike they review and u wish to buy everyone of them!! You guys are just getting better and better with each review.
Fantastic Review !! PD motorcycle reviews are Out of this world. Period. Nice graphics up top showing the modes and information. Waiting for next video.
~~> Sagar's fascination while enlisting the tech info on this bike is very clearly evident and I should say, I am really thrilled & surprised to a certain extent, to see so much tech being introduced in this Ducati. I think, in one of the shots, you can see the chassis of the bike is seemingly isolated from the dampers whilst cruising on the road, drawing a similarity to the way those big Mercs glide on the roads. It is therefore, an equally exciting prospect to expect that most of these tech would eventually trickle down to the street variants as well in the near future. Keep up the great work Team PD.
Awesome !! Awesome !! Awesome !! +PowerDrift , +Sagar Sheldekar : This is not fair. You guys aren't allowing me to settle down. :P The moment I think of no more bikes you guys come with one after another awesome videos. And yes, this is a VFM. Had a little ride on the old Multistrada 1200 and it was awesome. Just imagining what with all these added electronics it'll be.
Hello PD Army !!! Please make a video on octane rating of fuel... Throw some light on the effect of RON 91 fuel , which is standard in India on bikes with compression ratios, greater than 10:1 ... Even the Duke 200 manual says RON 95 as standard... Please educate us on this issue.. Because high compression engines with low octane fuel suffers from detonation and can cause damage to engine parts like the Journal on crank shaft, connecting rod, cylinder wall, piston crown, etc. etc. :(
Sagar Sheldekar you are one of the most just analyst of every automotive you deal with. We all, fans of PowerDrift only want to see you with every Two wheeler and dying to have your razor sharp eyes on Yamaha FZ25.
This machine has a special place in my heart. During my NID days I used to lurk around cama motors Ahmedabd, just get a glimpse of this beauty. Never got a chance to ride this beast though! Wonderful video!
What you guys are doing is really amazing! I actually think that these reviews are better than autocar and overdrive. The graphics, the way you put your thoughts into words is simply impeccable! Keep up the good work guys. You really are on the way to the top!
Hey guys! Great stuff :) IMU stands for Inertial (as in inertia) Measurement Unit. it sounded to me like "Initial". However, I don't see the point of adding an IMU, unless someone wants to use the vehicle's position (all axes) wrt to road to adjust traction, rpm etc. (which would become a feature that I would sulk and hate on)
WoW...😎 That was awesome... what a bike man.. riding modes tech was really interesting.. Well i didn't expected such a detailed review this early. Well it was a first ride, we all eagerly waiting for the full detailed review. Hope you'll post it soon.. and i also have a request from you guys.. Since, you guys are most in touch with many these fantastic machines and plus you have knowledge about them, i think there must be some tutorials on PD explaining various things about automobiles and also tutorials on how to repair basic things and some tricks and tweaks.. That will be make you more awesome and interesting. I hope you'll consider it..😎
As always it was amazing from you powerdrift.Coming to the bike I see all these features in a car.I am not a fan of touring bikes but this one caught my attention pretty strongly especially for the price ducati offers this.
Nice video....and the first bike to get cornering headlights a.k.a Adaptive headlights is the BMW K1600 GTL.....wherein the headlight beam actually adapts to the lean and the speed of the motorcycle......Ride safe....cheers
awesome review..as expected from pd...great job guys...which dictionary u guys use dnt know...every single word shows glimps of hard work nd passion for biking... I can would proudly say we r nw community ..we r pd army
+PowerDrift preping up for Ride for Peace initiative with my friends, its a crowdfunded peace ride for India and Pakistan would love to meet up you guys for that..🙂
M pretty much sure kawasaki is not somber about Indian market had it not been that case they would have definitely offered you guyz H2 for a full review :P. Talking about this one, PD you guyz always make it worth watching :D. And yeah i must say your editing team is a gem.
#PowerDrift Salam! :D Was waiting for this vid so badly....since i saw the clips on Sagar's fb page. You ppl keep pushing the benchmark higher every time!!! Simply Superb :) #Sergeant ko hats off! :D
Apurva Agnihotri ---> On a cool day (< 25°c), engine heat is tollerable. On a hot day (28°c >) in gridlock traffic, you will have roasted legs... especially the left leg (coolant pump/hoses) 😲😲😲 The MTS is Not a good hot weather commuter... a Scooter would be a better choice 😉 Engine at low revs is awesome, very smooth... thanks to DVT... ✔
I am a simple biker. I see sergeant, I hit LIKE :P. Alsooooo the first impression review was awesome. Now I know, why Akash & Varun are getting to review the Indian bikes or should I say the smaller segment bikes. Kudos !
Ducati Multibankrupt - cuz you go broke in order to afford it! :D Seriously though, all that electronic equipment is awesome but it can also be a source of various problems because we are talking about a motorcycle after all, and a touring one at that. I'm always a bit wary of too much electronics since it's not only a drain on your wallet in terms of maintenance but, like I said, it can sometimes cause you huge problems and pretty much nobody except certified technicians with special equipment can't solve them. As for me, the simpler the better, that has always been my motto. And even though Ducati is an elite name and an icon in the bike world, I'd still stick to the "working" class (some creature comforts are always welcome though - ABS, heated grips, alarm system, that sort of thing).
I'm at 15k miles around Western US mountain roads, it had a check engine light when it was new (under 3k) and that was it. Since then it's been rock solid. I don't regret it for a second, I always feel like I'm riding the king of bikes when I go out.
aluisious ---> 16,000km here on a 2015 MTS/S. Only one major glitch (faulty accelerometer) that was sorted out under warranty... and a couple of minor issues. All is good now. ✔ Awesome machine... no regrets... 👍😉

Congratulations PowerDrift! A very easy to watch and honest review. I have one important question though! I am in the decision phase of buying 2016 DVT 1200S and I am wondering how much vibration is there after some revs? You mentioned there is a vibration coming towards the pegs and the handlebar, how serious it is? At which rev interval does it start annoying and does it make the rider numb after some time? Thank you very much in advance for your answer.
one of the best reviews ever by pd you guys really take feedback seriously loved to here sagent here while we was riding super vedio. .......love you pd
Guys u gonna review the new ZX10R and the 959 Panigale when they come out? Cause a reliable review from you guys will help me take the decision. Your review helped me take the decision to buy the 2014 ZX10R
hey PD, review video superbly made. To be frank, was not a fan of your earlier reviews. felt it was more style and less substance But this is the way to go.... Three cheers
I can't decide what'd be more appropriate to say, "looks like a beauty, kills like a beast" or "A spaceship on two wheels". A technical question though, what advantages does a side mounted rear monoshock has over the conventional setup?
Hello Sagar, great review bro... me and my little bro had a test ride of diavel and the strada at the ducati Mumbai today and completely agree to your views you mentioned here. I personally loved the diavel and found it more planted and confidence inspiring overall than the strada but from a buyer's perspective I am confused to choose bw the two. which duc in ur opinion is better for a one time investment that can keep one happy for weekend rides and occasional hooliganism? I know the strada is loaded but diavel is still where my inclination is.. please comment and help a bro out and do suggest similar alternative brands I should try that can keep up with the duc in terms of performance and ownership
:P :P :P would be a fastest guy to reach college as well as first guy who is eager to go to the college just because he can ride his bike early morning :P :P :P
And Sagar, you really don't have to link the IMU with traction control, wheel slipping during acceleration and inertia are two different/opposite criteria, even if traction control had to be linked with IMU it would be for thrashing around corners where DTC also comes into play, the benefit will be marginal or you won't feel them at all.
+Sagar Sheldekar, Well, thats a quick reply :-).The IMUs are generally accelerometers that you have in your phone and the lean sensors are Gyroscopes (well you have them on your phone as well). you can really take lean angle data and use it stop/step-down unnecessary interference and to act hard when you are twisting the gas around corners. I think the lean sensor linked with the TC is much more intelligent than the IMU linked with TC.
I think I can safely say the roads though much better abroad are kind of similar to those in the North East. Plains, mountain roads and twisties abound not far from where you begin
tell me sumthing sarge, is it like you know everything abt operating the functions on the ducati or the people at ducati give a briefing abt how to operate the bike(meaning the electronics). coz there are so many options in the electronics how can one remember all of them. jus curious to know..

Very well done review!! Thank you ShellD
+Mukesh Solanki We have more in store, hang on! :)
Awesome as always.....One question.....How does that Cornering Lights work ?
***** oh ok.....but overall what an awesome package it is ..plethora of electronic aids these days....be it it a Beemer or Ducati....or Yamaha.....
Ducati Multibankrupt - cuz you go broke in order to afford it! :D
Seriously though, all that electronic equipment is awesome but it can also be a source of various problems because we are talking about a motorcycle after all, and a touring one at that.

Wow! What a beast! Such a spectacular animal the elephant is.
+Sumeet Barse We saw what you did there :/
Congratulations PowerDrift!
As always, Outstanding video PD army.....

S1000XR ? The 1250GS is the main competitor
Edit : I get your point now! Got a Multi 950S preowned as the GS wasn’t sporty

Hello Sagar,
great review bro...
