Good evening, Houston here! Sister 11 am is too late in the morning to water in our State. You must try either _O Dark Thirty or in the evenings.'_ I recommend you think about investing in some _Shade Cloth._ I also noticed you watering something OVERHEAD instead of at the base of the plant. When you do this to 'leafy' plants the roots don't get the water. I'm so sorry this is happening to you but be advised you're not the only Texas Gardener (or Southern Gardener) for whom this Heat is proving to be really difficult. You'll adapt and learn for next season! Be blessed.

This! I agree like 30/40 percent shade cloth and no more!

Agree with you all. A shade cloth has been used on a smaller scale previous seasons, and we are currently working on a larger, more permanent structure. Thank you all so much... appreciate all the advice!!💜💜

Hi Houston here; Yes Ma'am I'm struggling too & I also started late. Lots of flowers but no fruit. Just put my post for shade cloth. Cool down some since hurricane with peppers, tomatoes & okra coming in. Hang in there, God will bless. Tfs🌶🫑🥒🍅.
