Your review had me realizing the more subtle nuances within the movie. Me and my wife saw furiosa in 4D, which was cool but I think distracted from the overall main attraction, so that could have played a part in it lol. Great review I love it!
Great review brotha. Very interesting point about the heavy use of CG being a stylistic choice I didn't even think about that. It's my favorite movie of the year so far but that's also because I'm a big Mad Max fanboy. To me this movie actually felt like the revenge movie that Mad Max 1 was mixed with brutal action and violence of The Road Warrior with tons more world building and opportunities to soak everything in that was lacking in Fury Road because of the fast pacing. It's the perfect companion to Fury Road ive seen people say watching both of them back to back now changes the way you see Fury Road even more. Wana know another cool thing about this movie? It even connects to the PlayStation 4 Mad Max video game from 2015 because they used George Miller's ideas for the game and then he used some of the same characters in this movie. This movie is just a fkn masterpiece yes it's sad that it failed at the Box Office but I would be ok with this being the end of the franchise.
