Can you share depth of water, depth of lure, time of year, trolling speed, lure etc? Most of us watch fishing videos so we can learn from you guys and catch more fish. Nice job and thanks for sharing.
Sure here's the gory details. We were in about 100ft of water and trolling right on the bottom. We had the ball of the downrigger hitting the bottom on occasion. This was in October around Columbus day. As far as speed and lure it depends on what you're using. We switch up a lot so some lures we pull pretty fast 2.5+ and some slower 1.7+. We've been trolling for big Lakers for about five years now with little to no success until recently. I don't necessarily think we've figured anything out by any stretch but we are getting better.
