First off, I'm not a professional videographer, but have been a photographer for around 40 years, now becoming increasingly interested in video. So I bought the a2000 a week ago, having given up on static gimbals (aka Glidecams style), and would like to make a few comments on the points you made on the a2000 (in chronological order). Firstly, I use Arca Swiss plates on all of my cameras, so the first thing I did was attach an Arca Swiss mount onto the supplied plate. I did the same with my fluid head which came with the Manfrotto style plate. This was easy and does away with having to use screws and means that you don't need these cumbersome Manfrotto plates. So attaching and then balancing the camera is a very quick and easy affair, significantly easier than with a static gimbal. With regards to attachments points, you forgot to mention that the gimbal handle comes with two 1/4" standard screw holes that lets you mount accessories to the handle. They may not suit all manner of accessories, but certainly some. As for the stability of the footage, from what I've tried so far, the footage is very stable and no jitter whatsoever. I've been using mine with an Olympus E-M1 MkII and 14-35mm f2 lens (total weight around 1.6kg), so I'd have to say that your gimbal has an issue. Have you tried a firmware update? You should also note that the app for the gimbal (one of the best around) has adjustment controls for gimbal calibration, such as horizontal calibration including current amplitude and motor dynamics, which might fix the jitter that you're experiencing. As for the trigger, it's all matter of getting used to your gear and not something that anyone should be concerned about. If you don't need it, cover it up. I think you put too much emphasis on the jitter issue and should have investigated this further before making it seem as if it's an inherent problem with the brand and model. You could have contacted your supplier and/or Feiyu Tech to see if it could be resolved, given that I haven't seen any other review indicating this issue.
I have this gimbal too, and have not experienced micro-jitters. I use only with a Sony a5100. The handle kit is just great. I put mic, recorder, and monitor on it ... many options for mounting. Overall, I like it's simplicity, not much to go wrong.
Jeven Dovey using a Canon 70d with Tamron 24-70. I do have the image stabilization turned on. I have noticed that you need to grip the gimble fairly solid to prevent it from shaking on its own. Who knows. I’m really happy with the footage I’m getting with mine.
I think it comes to the weight of the camera maybe same as to the Glidecam I had 3kg glidecam capacity when I use 900g camera setup its shakes a lot..but when I put sigma 18-35 which makes it 1.3kg it extremely smooth.
Hey Jeven , I just find a this gimbal which is old now but in very good condition and very cheap price (less than 100 euro) do you recommend it? Plus: I have canon M50 Mark II , thank you in advance
Do you think I can add an extension rod to this? I am looking at fiber monopods, just not so sure it won't bend, the 1/4 inch hole at the bottom doesn't look like it will hold the camera when I raise it high up in the air. I use Sony A6300.
Just found out about your channel. Really good videos, tutorials. I’m learning a lot. I wish I had known it before. And the worst part is that I missed some Dji spark giveaways.
Great video! I agree with you, i have been using this gimbal for awhile, my clips not stable too.... When i try the 360 around my object , suddenly the gimbal stop and turn .... I am waiting for my gopro 8 :)
I have only played with it using the GH5. There will be less jittering with lighter cameras for sure. The jitter comes from the gimbal not able to keep the balance of the weight of the camera.
As you know iam a Newby but I like it not really the double handled but the single. Well got my gopro 5 as the olympus getting a bit heavy for me and playing with a Vimble c and a g5 to see if I like them Gee I hate starting from scratch again getting to old love your work stay safe
Its have same issue with my a2000, compare to my a1000 it a lot smoother, i dont know why, my a2000 vibrate when turn it on amd its say fail to update firmwarw when im update it, im sending email to feiyu and they said im must send my a2000 to maindland china to fix it, now im only using a1000 becausse im only using sony a6300

Thanks for the honest review
You should check out my recent review of the Accsoon A1. That gimbal is so much better
I wonder if you got a bd copy. I have the same gimbal and mine is extremely smooth, especially with the dual handles.
What camera are you using. Do you have your lens stabilizer on?
Jeven Dovey using a Canon 70d with Tamron 24-70. I do have the image stabilization turned on.

Planning to buy mine.... Right now am busy watching these reviews to check if it's going to be worthy it
I definitely agree with you. I saw those micro jitters it made my eyes jitter too lol
Absolutely agree about the stabilisation issue. I don't want to add post edit tasks when unnecessairy.
Yeah I would avoid this gimbal. There are so many others out there that get way smoother footage

Is it normal for the handle to spin while switching on unless you hold it
Nice video 👌 do you recomend this gimbal for sony a6500 with 18-105mm lens or ak1000 is strong enought?
i wanna kno this too
Maybe go for another brand💪🏻
Good question @JJFilms, i was wondering the exact same thing, the micro jitters was very annoying!
Steve Carpenter yeah it’s more on this gimbal than others I’ve worked with. Lens stabilization will help reduce it
Nice sharing, I am so happy to beening the owner of a2000, it is really stable and smooth, love it.

Great honest review, thanks!
Now stuck... Don't know what gimbal to buy anymore .... Zhyuni Crane 2 and Feiyu A2000, which one would you recommend?
I really like this gimbal. Is the jitter evident using cameras of different weights?
I have only played with it using the GH5. There will be less jittering with lighter cameras for sure. The jitter comes from the gimbal not able to keep the balance of the weight of the camera.
THanks for the video:) which other gimbal would you recommand?
Accsoon A1-S is my favorite. Another one that’s interesting is the nebula 4500. I’m releasing a review about that one in a few days.../
i just got this and then you did a review. Perhaps some post production would help. We'll see.
I have a gh4 and à sigma 18-35 and the gimbal A2000 but the footage is very shaky
+Studio film this gimbal is not very good. I highly suggest checking out the accsoon a1-s or the crane 3 lab for a smooth gimbal
Jeven Dovey ok thanks
Nice review.. this insight is going to be useful on my next buy
nice video, dude!
Thanks!
what if the sony a7 3 and lens has IS and OSS?
Great share. The micro jitters would be annoying to have to go back and try and stabilize in the post edit process. keep up with the videos, dude!
Thanks! The jitters are suoper annoying to get rid of. Better to just get a good gimbal that doesn't have as many balance issues.
If you used a lens with built-in stabilization would that get rid of the micro jitters?
JJFilms yes it will help it. Also adding some stabilization in post will get rid of it.
Is there a big difference in the gimbal hight compared to the Crane V2, etc.?
derTimon not sure. Haven’t used the crane 2 yet
Thanks for the fast response :) I ment the Crane V2/Crane Plus. Do you have any other gimbal to compare?
Hi, which firmware are you using? I've seen on their website that it now handles 2.5 kg... Does that help?
Don't have this gimbal anymore so I didnt try with that firmware
I’ve got A1000 and I don’t see as much micro jitters , When I use my G-7 or iPhone
Lighter cameras... The jitters come from a heavier camera. The motors cant keep up with the weight.
Jeven Dovey
what camera makes problem
Just subbed great channel
Thank You!!

I'm not as experienced, I missed the micro jitters you talked about. I may be watching this when I am too tired.
Can i use a gopro on this?
Yes you can
Sorry forgot to say to you super video
😊
