Where do you come across the music movements, and what is the mechanism of the automata movement? I have no experience but would love to learn how to make music- synchronized automata.
You should start with learning how to repair clocks and watches. Then do the same with music boxes. Buy some books on the topic and then transfer your learned to skills to automata. It will take and investment of both time and money.
