Brings me back to my flying days. Got certified in a 152 and then checked out in a 172 so that I could take family and friends on trips. Many thanks for posting!
Thank you! Very cool! One of my most memorable experiences was co-flying a Cesna 172 as a high school student. We left form Opa Locka to Tamiami and back.
I was a Military Policeman in the Air Force years ago. A POV was a Privately Owned Vehicle on every incident report I had to type involving civilian cars/trucks. Low time private pilot! Nice video!
Thanks for checking out my video! This take-off was in a bit of a crosswind, so we put our ailerons into the wind for crosswind correction, to avoid having the airplane skid to the edge of the runway, or having one wing lift up higher than the other. Crosswind corrections are also performed during taxi and the ground roll on landing.
Greetings from Arkansas. Love the video. It's always been my goal to fly. For the meantime I have a drone and also a flight simulator with Microsoft flight 2020 on an Xbox series S using the turtle beach velocity one. It's cool and all but it ain't flying. My dream is to fly. I'm 55 but still want to take lessons but my wife says she's scared for me. 😮
@@Boofi-quat flying in a tuna can 5000 feet above earth with an engine failure with your family on board is not going to be fun. Ask the Louisiana physician that crashed his plane with his family on board nearing Nashville if the thought it was fun. Oh wait! You can’t ask him! He died last weekend with he’s entire family in a single engine Tina can. Pathetic!

I got my IFR rating in the C172 in 1982. Loved that plan.
Beautiful pov takeoff!

That was a great take off thank you for this video and safe flying
Greetings from a Cessna Flyer from germany my dear friend. Stay safe.
Im not a pilot, asking because Im interested. Aileron in to the wind while acceleration or to minimize torque?

We use rudder to counteract the torque. While we use aileron to counteract a wing getting lifted up by wind.
How would you describe the take off is it as intense as flying comercial or no ?
Awesome dude

Never too late to start! happy flying and thanks for checking out my video!
That nearly-open right side door latch was a problem waiting to happen.
It’s unlocked, not half open, but yeah I saw that too kinda bothers me ngl.
Fortunately the c172 isn’t locked if the handle is up one position tho.
Yup as much as I hate to admit it, that was quite the mistake on my part. Thankfully, it hasn’t happened since
A cessna 172 door opening in flight is no big deal
Does it really look like this to the eye in scale when you're sitting in this or is this camera zoomed out?
Sort of both, I mount it to my head but also zoom out a bit so the entire environment is captured by the camera
@@jbflight ah I have never sat in a real c172 so always wondered what’s the actual view would be to the eye
@@nehugeit's amazing. Give it a try.
Matching holes in the yoke shaft and collar?
Yep, those holes are for the control lock when securing the airplane
One question,
On the ground yet , the plane move with the front engine or have one else on the wheels?
The front engine and prop is used for all thrust on the ground and in the air
@@jbflight ok, i thought this was like a comercial aircraft
What gear do ou use for this kind of recording?
I record with my phone on a fairly inexpensive head/chest mount I got from Amazon
@@jbflight Thanks for the response. I´m thinking of recording too in POV
@@gimallo1107 Awesome! Best of luck
Buah nunca entenderé porque los cessnas cada uno es distinto hermano déjenme con 1 modelo 😭
Excelente.
How many hours of training does it take to fly a plane this size?
-Terrorists: "Depends if you want to land the plane or not."
Nice 👍
Trim?

@@karhukivi based on this armchair pilot's expert opinion.
