Early development
In 2015, after Total War: Warhammer was announced but before it released, Creative Assembly announced that they planned to create a trilogy of Total War: Warhammer games.[1]
In 2016, Russian data-miners discovered plans in the Total War: Warhammer game files for a third game featuring Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch and Slaanesh as factions.

Total War: Warhammer is part of Creative Assembly's grand strategy Total War series. Set in the grim, high fantasy world of Warhammer Fantasy, Total War: Warhammer pits many unique races in a struggle for domination of the Old World. Fun fact Grimnir actually shows up in the Gotrek and Felix books and is described as being broad like a linebacker and a head taller than the tallest dwarf. When you take into account the average dwarf height that means he’s roughly as tall as an average human. The doom seekers aren’t betrayers they are just treading closely the path of Grimnir and embracing the swole!
Dwarfs can grow taller as they grow older, so just imagine if it's a god.

the best way to deal with grudges, and he was being nice, at least it was not flame cannons and organ guns with gyrocopters to finish up the scraps. That has always been the downfall of Thorgrim and the Dawi, being too nice, the first elgi should of been greeted with an axe.

It's all the drinking and feasting they do after fighting. It makes them grow larger after each good fight. Like orcs.
Btw. That makes a good point. Lords and Heroes are usually nobles, well fed and trained, so it makes sense that they grow taller. But doomseekers usually become slayers after already becoming adults. So either all the doomseekers were alraedy large as dwarfs, or slayers keep growing the more they fight.
Come to think of it, Snorri and Gotrek were noted by Felix to be among the tallest and largest dwarfs he have met, with Snorri being even taller and more muscular than Gotrek. Maybe dwarfs really do grow bigger the more they drink or fight?
Dwarfs grow bigger and stronger until they are abought to die, so a 500 year old dwarf will be way stronger then a 300 year old dwarf, but one eventually that 500 year old dwarf will hit a wall, and he'll grow much weaker and die within a few decades

Also, if the dwarfs have an S-word pass and since the word “Azumgi” exists meaning a human who can be trusted with a dwarf’s axe is cannon. Then can there be a similar word? Like “Sumgi” or something? A human so trusted by a dwarf or dwarves that they can get the S-word pass?

Doomseeker slayer unit when?
In actuality people seem to think that they can just use them like any other dwarf melee unit and just throw them into blobs and expect them to eviscerate everything around them, but they often die very quickly that is tryed. So if anything, you should treat them like blood letters in which they can't take a lot, but they can definitely chew through infantry. So put them in with some dwarf warriors or long beards or even iron breakers so the shielded infantry tank for the doom seekers as they rip apart the unit in front of them without being focused.
Isn't the whole point of them is to get their doom? Denying a slayer his doom is the worst thing you could do to a slayer, that surely is going in the book!!
@@MusMasi Lorewise probably not, but realistically you want these murder machines to be alive, especially at the end of the day in campaign and in battle, so you can use them even more than just throwing them away just to die in battles that ultimately don't matter.

I noticed a somewhat drastic design change with these units. The axes have turned into sharpened pans, the faces are way more cartoonish then the rest of the roster.
At some point the art director must've changed.
