NO WAY!!! I have an identical motor and its not running great. You may be able to save me. It idles then shuts off as soon as I put it in gear and throttle it. I still need to clean the carb. Did you notice if the wires are fraying or spliced? mine has one old wire (green) that attaches from the ingition coil to under the fly wheel that is barely holding on by one copper strand now. Any recommendations on what type of wire I need to replace it? Thanks in advance!

Nice motor. Is the forward-reverse backwards on this motor from OMCs? I have a 200 that is backwards, even the decal is opposite OMC.
