@DrFrankenmac You might want to tell your director that FSU has the support of the Seminole Indian tribe. When the NCAA decided that tribal names were offensive, and wanted FSU to change the team names, the Seminole Indians spoke up and voiced their support.
The Prism concert features the Marching Band and other groups from the School of Music. Some of the Chiefs play in other ensembles in the concert, and dress for that group. For example, you can see the baritone players at the left wearing black, from the baritone group performance.
I'm a Gator student and, naturally, a Gator fan, but I have enormous respect for the sounds these Marching Chiefs produce. For me, this is the essence of love/hate relationship.

I'm a sax player from the Fresno State Bulldog Marching Band (the other FSU) lol and our director came from University of Florida so whenever he's having a bad day or just for a joke sometimes our band would just break out the FSU warchant just to piss him off lol. It's all in good fun though we like messin with a gator lol.

ItsYaBoyPagan yeah I got a little worried so I told my Band director from New Milford Highschool that Waldwick was playing War chant so looked at the other side of stand at they played War chant but we beat Waldwick like a week ago and already beated Becton so we're going to MetLife stadium soon also we beat Hasbrouck heights for JV

it isn't the fight song. there is a whole different fight song. this is the war chant. but that being said, i love it. being at doak with 80,000 other people singing along, there's nothing else like it.
