Found via Tallyho. Beautiful music.
Ditto! Thank you Tallyho!!
@robbatr7131 an amazing video series about building back up an old 1910 sail boat from hand, my words are an understatement. Seriously check it out.
Just search Tally Ho boat build or something similar
Ditto!
STILL hooked on Hills of Mexico!
Love that tune.
Search Donna the Buffalo.
You’re welcome.
@robbatr7131search RUclips for Sampson Boat company.
Just touched the water yesterday after a 5 year build.
This is so beautiful! Wonderful gig the other night in Camden.x
Love it.
This popped into my head and then I was like h/o it’s actually September now!!!💙💙💙💙💙
I Just heard you guys on the Tally Ho project channel... went right out and bought your new album on iTunes. You have a great sound, reminds me of The Stray Birds, one of my favorites. I hope you can make it out to Hawaii some day.
Geoffrey it would be sooooo cool to come to Hawaii! Thanks for the lovely comment. Stray Birds are awesome.
Tallyho, thank you Leo and a most excellent band
Tally go brought me here. Thank you
Seen Wayward Jane live at Edinburgh storytelling centre, was an amazing performance. Incredibly talented musicians and a pleasure to see live. Can't wait to see you again
Almost as good as being there. Thanks so much! Mad US Fan since I heard you on Sampson Boat Co. … carry on now. ❤
Also found via Tallyho, love your music!
And I thought I was so clever. Hooked on Tally Ho but also strongly attracted to some of the music. Genius me decided to Shazam it, September I think, and lo and behold discovered WJ. Now I read here that half the world discovered you the same way. I can't stop listening. Thankyou guys.
Same here; Tally Ho. Love your vibe!
Yes, Joyful and Heartfelt
Came from the Tally Ho project, this song's been stuck in my mind all day, decided to find it.
via tally Ho - most excellent

Jonny
Don't know how I found you guys.....but I am so glad I did!!
Thanks Kevin!
Went to East Gate Theatre in Peebles to see these guys play, Great sound, Each the four musicians bring there own part to the band. Would defiantly recommend going to see them if you get the chance. My favourite track was Hills Of Mexico. Lead singers voice is so smooth and mellow. The violinist has an amazing talent and has a real strong voice also. The Bass gets your hands tapping and then the Banjo is just something else. Its not possible to listen to these guys without tapping your feet and clapping along. 5 Stars From me
Thank you Gary!
Gorgeous lyrics:
Walking the woods, first smell of autumn
Don't wanna go, I wanna stay here.
Red, gold and brown, that's when I saw 'em
Don't know why I shed a tear.
Up on the ridge, clouds were a-coming
but in a way I could see it quite clear.
Up on the peak, winds are really blowing
You know I don't mind this time of year.
They say "things are getting darker"
Maybe it's just a new year?
You might not like September
I know there's nothing to fear
Back in the city, wasn't really breathing
I couldn't see past a cloud of smoke
Head bowed down to keep in the feeling
that out of your slumber you might have awoke
Up on the Mile, bodies were a-flowing
just like the air from the golden time
My spirit rose when the music got going
You know I don't mind this time of year
They say "things are getting darker"
Baby, it's just a new year
You may not like September
I know there's nothing to fear
I would guess the line "Up on the Mile, bodies were a-flowing" is a reference to the Royal Mile, in their native Edinburgh. If anyone has any clues about "the air from the golden time", let me know!
@@TheExplant It's actually 'The ale from the golden tap' in reference to the pub at the top of the Royal Mile!
@@TheExplantI think you'll find "the air from a golden time" is actually "the ale from a golden tap". I could be wrong but that makes more sense to me.
Another Tally Ho convert - love what you do - concert dates please!
