the one who can handle the most protocols.like iso9141,pwm , J1850 PWM, J1850 VPW, ISO9141-2, ISO14230-4 (also known as Keyword Protocol 2000), and more recently, ISO15765-4/SAE J2480 (a "flavor" of CAN). but most important the one (protocol) you need to use to get your data out of your bike . most eobd testers do that a handheld is handy to have at home a miniature version and cheap one is the elm327 V1.4 or hicher version with Bluetooth and your android / apple phone ,thats the best way in my opinion to take with me on the tour (in case of need to use)
@@wilco1v ok. I have another obd tool. The obdlink LX, but i dont have the Honda adapter cable. Its posible conect the África twin in the obdlink LX? You believe this?
@@andreasvoigt8497 adapter is better ,mimimal chance to damage the honda connector .(or wire up the wrong way) but yes most eobd tools you can wire up the tester : pin 4 and 5 to ground pin 16 to life power 12volt pin 7 is the k-line all explaned in my movie not tested on older africa twins 2016 till 2018 . just try it ....
