Hungary Roots Trip 2019

When my brother Andy visited us in Hungary, we decided to travel to the area our family lived long ago. Our Grandma Helen was daughter of Ethel (Farkas) & Vilmos (Greenhut/Grünhút/Grünbaum). Ethel worked at a restaurant owned by her mother in Mezőkövesd, & married Vilmos (a nearby farmer) in Gyöngyös before starting their life together - eventually moving to the USA as the Greenhut & then Green family.
We visited a friend of the family who has since become like family himself - and area historian, János Hajdú...who has developed a great historical museum of local farming and other cultural heritage.
