  • This is a research session that follows the 144 Wing, RCAF through four months in Normandy. Missions are examined day by day using unit records and first hand accounts.
    It is intended to be helpful to mission designers but please coordinate with me before starting work on a campaign based on these specific missions.

    Hi, This is Fantastic! thank you for your efforts. I am researching F/O William Bentley. who was with 144 and 127 Wing on 443 Sqn. On note he had a confirmed ME 109 on 30 July 1944. However he was unfortunately KIA on the 12/08/1944. I have his log book and photos that I can share with you if it helps. Kind Regards Alex Bentley.
