I found this helpful -- I like the introduction of the VCA between Pam's Workout and uScale; I hadn't thought of that. Going to patch this up in a bit!
sweet have fun!
yeah, the vca between clock and quantizer is pretty wild.
the dog steps in the background are funny:)
new favorite modular channel!
Man I've seen a bunch of intelligel reviews. I can't believe I've never seen this!
massive Dälek vibes around 15 minutes, respect!
Respect✌🏾
can you post patch notes??
Hmm this was some time ago i can answer some questions if you have them though
Holy cow this is so damn helpful. Thank youuuu.
These vids are great and musical, thanks for sharing!
also love the MPC at the end. eurorack drums are always a bit stiff and lacking in good samples.
Thanks man!! Yea eurorack drums modules just arent for me lol. I like my mpc workflow.
thank you for thoroughly explaining the patch! subscribed!
No prob! Thanks for watching!
Is that a Precision Adder there next to the uScale? Dug into that one much? Debating keeping mine...
Fun stuff tho man, esp around 17:00
Yep it is. Its pretty new so i have mostly been using it to transpose my sequences which is why i got it, it gives me some octave variation when using the varigate 4+ and also allow me to quickly transpose the er-101 with 1 switch flip. Also i fed 2 different cv sequences into the adder that already played well together and it gave me a new sequence that sounded great with the other two i already had. Thanks for watching !
Thanks I enjoyed watching this. Not too much talking, just enough so I can follow what you are patching. Nice.
Thanks glad you liked it!
could you please do a magneto How i use it . I'm on the fence about that one...
Thats the next episode!!!! Releasing this Thursday or Friday
@@AliTheArchitect I hope I can wait that long ... there is soo much i need and so much i want .
@@killahkay2112 my response would be just get it you wont be disappointed lol i mulled it over for 3 months with that 600 price tag.. i was able to grab it for about 500 from my local shop they hooked me up. But to me it was worth every penny.
@@AliTheArchitect heheh I know I know . Tho they are even more expensive in Europe ... 650 EUR , is a hard hitter . Make sure you get that Dubbed King-tubby-patch UP and runnin' for the Vid :p
Episode 3 with magneto is up!
Great Jam!
Thanks i appreciate that!
nice modular videos so far! don't stop haha
Cool thanks i appreciate it!!
where does the reverb come from ?
Its from the erica synths black hole dsp and also on the 2nd part magneto is also adding reverb
3:40 you could have just entered the "Root" menu by pressing root for approx 1sec and then shift everything automatically
Really? I will try that so it will shift root note buy 1 without a shift in?
@@AliTheArchitect You can just select a new Root, in your case just one semi-tone below. Also, you can controll root note shift with VC by entering the menu and choosing "Root" as shift target.
@@thofabyq yea i was just shifting root note down one. I know about shifting root with cv but it hasnt come out very musical for me. I will probably explore that more though since i have the er-101 now and can set specific voltages with cv-b channel
@@AliTheArchitectFor precise CV shifting, I'm now thinking you need another quantizer on which you'd have just the 'progressions' notes selected.
@@danvandal4127 that can be done by saving your own scales and using the shift to control them
How do you record/sample this so you can use it in your compositions? I love what you're doing and showing here man! Keep at it!
I usually sync everything with my MPC live and umidi then track everything into my daw using my fireface 800. I have 8 outs from the eurorack into the ada8200 then adat into the fireface.
@@AliTheArchitect Nice! I assumed you had some way to record what you are working on. The ephemeral nature of eurorack kinda seems at odds with recording. Again, I love your stuff and look forward to each new update sir!
@@element4studios Thanks man i really appreciate it!!! Honestly recording is super straight forward. Same concept as recording any other analog since. Get it in sync and hit record
@@AliTheArchitect I know it would probably suck in terms of content, but I'd love to see the whole process of you mixing up something and producing it! I am a rank newb when it comes to this stuff, so a lot of pretty obvious stuff I am clueless on and would love to see!
So, are you using the MPC Live to sequence thangs or just as a central clock? Ive got an MPC2000xl, would love to sequence my modular with it, but I dont really see anybody doin that, yet...not really sure if itd work well
