Been listening to Johnny Drille since 2013. The consistency and growth this guy has shown in his own lane is remarkable. I was worried about what kinda music he’d produce when he was signed to Mavin. Didn’t want him to completely switch up and go all the way Afro pop. Now I realize Don Jazzy was probably the best person to help him reach out to the mainstream audience while still keeping his core fan base. Much like Ladipoe. Johnny, you don’t realize it now but you’re making timeless music. This is the kinda music I’d play for my kids in 20 years and ask ‘whatchu know about this one?’ 😅
