It's going to sound conceded, but I enjoy working with myself as a songwriter. Redding, Cornell, Lennon, and Marriott would have been awesome to work with, if I had the opportunity. Mick Ralphs would be cool, too.
Thank you for this! The Lickerish Quartet is the best thing we could have asked for in this terrible year. Lighthouse Spaceship is getting me through the pandemic and keeping me sane. I love exploring Roger's process and ideas in particular. I am a massive Jellyfish fan and grateful to have some of that magic back again! Love your channel!
I'm listening to "Lighthouse Spaceship"...so cool! It reminds me of an awesome mix between ELO, Ty Tabor and Spock's Beard! Kudos!...Anyway, Beatles "here, there and everywhere"! :)
Yeah... this new stuff is going to satisfy the fans a lot. It's not going to break them into the pop charts but it is going to sell enough to their fans to make them some money and make the project worth the time invested. Thanks for talking with them Warren. I have had the new EP on pre-order for weeks.
I've heard all 4 tracks and still bought the signed CD and LP because these guys deserve our support. The music is phenomenal. It's pristine through my Sennheiser HD580s. Pure ear candy! I wish more people made music like this. Thank you, Warren, for doing this because the insights are great.
I've been listening to those 2 Jellyfish albums since the early 90s and still yet to tire of them. Two of my favourites for sure. SOO Great. Looking forward to checking out this new stuff. :)
Wow! That was so much fun. Really fantastic interview. I sooo hope circumstances allow for them to tour this album. Thank you Warren and Tim ,Roger, Eric and Ken.
Finally I get to be early. Also, Thanks for the India channel Mr. Huart, that would open up option for several people who aren't habituated with english.
Listening to the description of how Roger has a vision isn't surprising. It's how I get when I am working on something. When my other half is working on a song I do the same thing with him throwing out ideas and comparisons.
Thanks for doing this Warren. I've been friends with Eric since we were 10 years old and played in many bands together. Glad to see the exposer you're giving them, they deserve it. The new EP is great, I think some of the best stuff they have done. Eric and Roger make a great song writing combination.
A little thing you might not know is he is left handed but obviously plays right handed. The only guitar he could afford growing up was an old acoustic right handed guitar so he learned it that way. Just a fun little note.
Awesome to see these guys come back together, even if it’s without Andy. Immediately checks out the new single. Absolutely loved Bellybutton. And we get the opportunity to mix the track as well!!! Extra discount from within the Produce Like a Pro Academy.. Get into it!!! 🤘🎛🎼🤩
The came up on my YT feed and I’m like what?!?!?!?! This is awesome news and what a great interview Warren! Can’t wait to hear what these incredibly talented guys have come up with!
Not familiar with the band nor the music, but really enjoyed the song (Lighthouse Spaceship) the mix and the musicianship. I'm a new fan. Thx Guys and Warren.
I didn’t care for “Fadoodle”-but literally everything else sounds like it could’ve been on a Jellyfish album! I really enjoyed “New Days,” “Lighthouse Spaceship,” and the recent release “In The Meantime.”
Hi Easy MIX, it's a course we did with Ken Sluiter here:- promixacademy.com/audio-courses/mixing-lickerish-quartet-with-ken-sluiter/?fbclid=IwAR3xvewxHkSI8-xR83mZf4V2_TZ_cKdqaNVfQQyG6YcK3rNfsp0Ph-rW-Bg
Warren old chap I found you can get more bass out of the Kali 6 monitors. There's a jumper pad on the back and if you flip 4 and 5 up you get the digital computer to put the extra bass boost ON. Luvly!
The lads said they had this interview in the works. I wasn't expecting it so soon. Thanks, Warren and TLQ. Looking forward to a potential video of TLQ with Tim Smith's good friend, and musician on Umajets recordings, Rick Beato.
@@Producelikeapro I'm not a musician, but I like to tinker here and there for fun. I just purchased The Lickerish Quartet mixing package that Ken has. I'm just waiting on the d/load e-mail. Thanks for offering the discount on this package, and other lessons, Warren.
If you could work with any songwriter, who would you choose?
To work with PJ Harvey would be a so awesome.
Paul McCartney.

Incredible collection of talent indeed!!

The end of the song is so ELO. Yet is completely new and fresh. That is the mark of a good song.
It's pretty darn amazing isn't it Valerio! I hear all of those influences as well!!
