Very nice mixed bag Mick. That first Flatty put on a nice show for the camera and those EP were a cool catch. Love seeing some decent sized Bream too, awesome job my friend!
Cheers mate, I've definitely never been one to stay still when fishing, the more water you cover, the better your odds. There were millions of little prawns under there, so you can see why the fish were there.
THE PERCH THIS YEAR BRED PRETTY WELL THIS YEAR IN THE GEORGES RIVER THIS YEAR ( CATTLE DUFFERS) EARLY SPRING & STILL ARE BUT UP RIVER. LOOKS LIKE THEY LIKE THE COVER THERE. THEY NEED IT TO BREED. NICE FISH CHAMP.
Cheers mate, it's always good to see good numbers after the spawn, I've never really tried around there, I will have to give it a go next year. Thanks again 👍
Awesome work mick! Some lovely flatties and EP’s! Too bad you lost the big one…. Maybe a big bream or flatty??? Idk… whatever it was.. it was bloody huge 😂 Keep up the amazing work! Tight lines brotha! 🎣🤙🎣🤙🎣🤙
The way it held the structure, I'm thinking it was a 40+ breambo... That's fishing though, you can't catch them all. Cheers mate, hope you manage to get out for a fish with Andy this weekend 🎣 tight lines
Sketchy stuff haha 4lb braid but a long 8lb leader when in structure... I enjoy the challenge of fishing light though, losing a fish will keep you coming back. PS it's not cheap 4lb braid it's the suffix advance stuff, worth every dollar though, it lasts a long time compared to other braid I find... It's also super thin yet I feel it's still as strong as 6lb, if you see me using my TD black reel or the infeet reel in video, that's all I run on those reels. I will go down to 6 and even 4lb leader (Shimano Ocea) in certain spots though, it just depends on the scenario... Cheers for watching mate and glad you enjoyed it 👍
I want to go fishing tmr but I've only got from midday till around 5pm. the weather seems not ideal and I'll be on kayak fishing for bass, should I go??
The weather should be good for bass tomorrow, just cast into the shadows, if it's sunny the shadows always hide the fish 👍 Definitely get out there mate, tight lines 🎣
@@bushfishncook2128 ha ha ha , you're correct mate . That's why so so many try it but give it up . I have been playing for about 45 years , and remember my beginnings . Was crapp for around 13 months , then the next 12 months because I kept at it got better . After 2 or so years trying things it started becoming more natural and ya learn actually the instrument ! Then ya can play almost anything . My mentor was the lead guitarist of Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs , charged me a Sixpack of Tooheys and a packet of Winfield Reds for my fee . 😂✔👍🎸🎣
Always wondered what the fish in there were like, now I know, nice haha, great scenery walking past their too haha
At times between them bridges, I have hooked decent Jewfish as well, more around the end of August though.

You were right to come nice perch to highlight the time great video
That last one must have been a monster
@@peterhipwell4632 I'm guessing the last one was a big Bream, I managed a 36 there without being bricked, so I'm guessing 40+

Cheers mate, it was definitely one of my favourite sessions in this location, I love catching EP, they are such a cool fish...
Your video shows the importance of investigating a variety of locations. It must be an ideal location to hold such a diverse fish population.

That’s a cool spot under there, would be nice in the middle of summer
With the amount of bait around I was starting to think, I hope a small bully doesn't show up for the feeding frenzy haha
🎉
Cheers mate 🍻
Love ya work!
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it 👍
@ i’ve never in my 55 years caught or seen while snorkelling an estuary perch!

Ohh yeah for sure mate, so many spots to fish around Sydney, at the moment the Daiwa prawn is slaying fish...
Cheers mate
@bushfishncook2128 I've got a whole heap of the diawa prawn, have also got some lures in from missing at sea called death baits
@MarkOzFishNSW death baits are cracker, I've only used them once but I would highly recommend them 👍
