I’m in California and I’ll see temps of 220+ when going up a steep hill and during summer around 210+ with just regular driving. Your video has me thinking about purchasing, but the oil cooler is meant for track use and off road vehicles, not saying it isn’t useful for regular driving but the temps we see are completely normal. You also were going the speed limit and where I’m from that’s right hand lane/big rig activity lol regardless awesome video and can’t wait for more
@@reginaldcooks7204 agreed on the made for tracking the car which is an option for later but I was more curious about how it would do in normal driving conditions and if it would improve the cooling of the oil. I also want to see if I can figure out a way to improve how well it coos in normal driving conditions so I’m currently looking to see if there is anything I can add to it.
@@MoJoNinjaGarage I feel like it’s more for show then function you live in one of the hottest states and your temps are lower then mine my oil temps can range from 220-230 depends temperature outside the grimmspeed front mount that is
@@Greatwrx naw, I put out a community post saying I couldn’t put one out this week had zero time last week and been putting in extra time at the 9 to 5 due to storms hitting Houston and some late nights with one of my kids being sick. Trying to get something together for next week while I am preparing for a business trip I have to do next week.
Glad to see it worked out and kept your temps down. I’ve thought about one but I rarely see mine much over 200. You’ve got me thinking bout it tho.
Being down here in hot Texas it is a must and turned out to work really well for me.
Ayyy my brother thank you for telling me it’s Wednesday look sharp bro
That was a great comparison video! Good to see that the oil cooler really does its job, even in 106 degrees temps. Well done!
Appreciate it big dawg!

You make me wanna get rid of my front mount 😂
@@Greatwrx why? Because of the verticooler?

@@Greatwrx intercoolers are about reducing intake temps not oil temps
you can still install an oil cooler with the front mount
@@OnomatopoeiaBoo I get that that but along with my oil temps going up it makes my coolant temps higher because it such a big front mount
Sir did you forget it Wednesday
