Again, another awesome video. Your videos have educated me on drone cinematography more than any other content creator! Thank you for this detailed tutorial on a mobile option for editing. I used CapCut on a video project once so far before seeing this walkthrough. CapCut is more powerful than I knew how to use. Thanks to you, my next video sequence will be much higher quality! On a side note, I’m a fan of the channel name rebranding 👍🏻. Congrats on your success and thanks for sharing your knowledge!
As always, nothing comes for free. After installing the app on my iPad I read the terms of use. When you agree to these, you give CapCut permission to use, sell, rent out r whatever they want to do with your footage without your consent or possibility to object. Of course, the material remains your property, but you basically have nothing to say about it. Uninstall was the next thing I did.
Great tutorial. Thank you. I came across the Lightcut app. Appears to be from DJI. Also looks very good and is also free. The app is, among other things, able to establish a connection with the DJI mini 3 series.
Matthew you are AWESOME dude!!! First time Commenting but long time Subscriber. Your tutorials are very informative and easy to understand (except for your silent T’s - love it). Among the best tutorials on RUclips. Keep up the good work 😀👍
Excellent video, it looks like you were using it on your phone, could you do a tut where you use the app on a computer? Also, do you know if there are any books for this program?
Brilliant Matthew. 👏 I've been having a few problems with editing. Mainly finding the right one. I've just downloaded wondershare onto laptop. Nightmare finding out how to use it. Going to put this one on my drone phone. Cap cut. Thanks 😊
Hey Matthew, I stubbled arcoss this today. Nice to hear another norn iron accent on here haha. I only recently started to use cap cut on the mobile and it seemed the only app right now that can understand my broad belfast accent lol
Hey Matthew, I love all of your videos, very helpful and informative. And regardless of whether or not this was a sponsored video, this still seems like a great feature-packed mobile video editor. However, I think I speak for many of your fans, when I say that it would be nice to know whether this was sponsored or you felt like making this video of your own volition. And I think if it's sponsored you could get in trouble for not having the "includes paid promotion" tab in the corner of your video. Anyway, thanks for the tutorial, I'll be sure to use your link and give this app a shot.
@@TheDroneCreative they don't define that as just being paid, it could be getting anything in exchange for doing a video: a free premium version of an app, free products, a commission from an affiliate link, any kind of perks that you gain in exchange for doing the video, not necessarily upfront cash payment. It gets a little ridiculous but even like getting a $2.99 app for free to review is considered sponsored content. Obviously this is a free app, but you get my point. But if it's not sponsored, can we assume that you're kind of suggesting that this is the best free mobile video editor, since this is the only one you've done a tutorial on? It certainly seems like it could be one of the best, it has just as many features as most free desktop editors.
Anyway, regardless of the circumstances, I'm glad to have to been made aware of this app, save your tutorial does a great job in overviewing all of the main features, of which there are a surprising amount for a mobile app.
Another insightful video Mattheww. I have Inshot on my phone at the moment but will find out whether Capcut is better. Mini 3 Pro at the mender's at the moment after a brief dalliance with a fence whilst hand landing! Ah well.
If you have a clip with audio or you have a clip with narration then adding b-roll over the top will preserve that audio. Also if you have a long clip and want a shorter clip in the middle of it, it saves you splitting the clip to insert it because you can just add it over the top. Hope that helps!
Love your videos! I know it’s not directly related to drones, but do you have or plan on making a tutorial on how you organize your videos and photo in i photos and or your computer and phone? for me, it gets very confusing where all my videos and photos are located between the drone, phone, and computer
You videos are really great and you are a very good narrator. I have just purchased a Dji Mini 3 Pro and am using you videos as a really good guide, Thank you for all your hard work.
Thanks for the tips. You already had a video talking about InShot as a mobile video editing tool. Comparing both. Which one would you recommend? CapCut or InShot?
Great question! If you are editing basic sequences both will do the job. CapCut has some nice advanced features and a slightly better range of effects and transitions. Personally at the minute I am using CapCut, but you can't go wrong with either.
So here is an interesting question: What if I shoot 4k 60fps drone footage for slow down but I also have some gopro 4k 30fps in my video because im doing sports and also aerial footage. Do I export in 30FPS 4k or 60fps 4k? =))
I'm coming to Ireland in August. My question is can I fly my drone around some of the breathtaking scenery of Ireland...for example the Cliffs of Moher , Skellig Michael and more?
What ratio do you recommend if I'm editing videos to send to someone for a small real estate video. Would I send just via email? Thank you. This video really helped I'm not very good what's so ever with this stuff but it was well explained
Hi Matthew, I’ve started this video but have one question, do you have a video on how to get the footage from your drone to the iPhone? Sorry if I missed it somewhere.
Hey, I have a question, I am looking into the purchasing mini 2, and I also am in NI, under 18. Do I need to have a license to fly the Mini 2,and will being under 18 present any issues, Many thanks!
Thanks for sharing this but having trouble finding my epidemic sounds ive saved on my iPad i hit the folder icon in sounds but nothing shows up when i know i have downloaded hundreds where would i find them
How do I get the video onto my phone? I have the DJI mini pro 3 with the screen so I don't use the phone app. I have only just used it once so I am new to this.
Would love to be able to try it. D/L and went to add one of my videos and it says my cloud space has reached its max storage... The file is not in the cloud its on my Hard drive...
When i change the aspect ratio to 9:16 for Instagram and zoom in to fit the screen, the video quality goes down jt looks kinda grainy. It only happens if i zoom in, the original video looks great. Is their a way to fix this?

This is by far the best Capcut tutorial I've seen. Awesome!

brilliant !! now I can edit my drone shots that have been sitting for months :) thank you. I got the desktop version of CapCut too.
Cap cut is awsome and thanks for going through it with us! There's still the reverse to talk about.
Your a great tutor! Thank you.
Brilliant walk through, cheers.
A video on what you consider more advanced cap cut would be interesting!
Thank you! Video idea noted! Thanks for the suggestion!

If you're new to editing, it's a good way to learn, plus it's got some powerful features and it's free!!!!
Who gives a fuck? I could care less if they use my drone videos. Hell, i’d be happy if they did!
Does this apply if you purchase the pro version??
Thank you Matthew for this clear explanation. For several weeks I follow your channel and learned a lot of you.
You are very welcome - Thanks for watching!
Great tutorial. Thank you. I came across the Lightcut app. Appears to be from DJI. Also looks very good and is also free. The app is, among other things, able to establish a connection with the DJI mini 3 series.
Great stuff. I skipped through the video because I was too excited to start editing, and I still managed to get enough info for a satisfying montage.

Brilliant video, I learnt so much
Bonsoir, merci pour cette excellente présentation de CapCUT
Great tutorial! Thanks so much for all your great videos.

Just a question. What is the point of adding b roll as overlay instead of just into the main timeline with the other footage?

Hi Matthew. How do you go about synching the changes between clips with the beats of the music? Jon
Thanks Mathew. Have you done or will you be doing a PC version? Many thanks, Kind regards, Mark.
