  • Hi everyone!
We spent the week installing a new Maxxair Fan in the 2006 Four Wheel Camper Eagle model! Once the fan was installed, we re-sealed the roof with liquid flex seal to erase the 16 years of wear and tear! Let us know if you have any questions or comments about the install and we'll see you for the next one!

That roof transformation is crazy. Makes it look 10x better! Also I loved the editing on the amazon delivery!

Just curious how that flex seal is holding up. Any peeling at all? Also what brand are those steps you use?

We sold the camper a year ago but it was still in great condition when we did!

IS this fan only a one way vent fan for cooking and reduce condensation? Is it better to have a fan that goes in reverse to blow air inside when it's hot?

Yes, the fan is exhaust only. And so far, we have not missed the option to have air brought in. When we sleep we open the windows by our head and it pulls in cool air nicely!

@@LivingLargeCamping on Amazon, it says it’s a vent and a fan but you need to close the top to circulate air. Have you tried that?

Hey man, did you take off all the screw for the roof trim before hand?

I believe so, there was one I had to cut off but I could not find where it was on the vent

Do you have any plans for solar, something like a Renogy Flex Panels? That Flex Seal works great; looks great...thanks for sharing.

Hi Christopher, thanks for the nice words! And I do have a flexible renogy solar panel that I planned on installing on the roof. We usually camp in shaded spots and have to move our portable solar often so I might try and make a more convenient portable option with the lightweight panel

We didn’t share much of the lock install but it was very straightforward and took about 5 minutes!

We’re hoping to get some camping videos out soon! The plan is to spend June-September in the camper so we’ll have lots of footage to share!
