@@TheACMJS I loved Odyssey. Probably my second favourite after Black Flag. I know it divided a lot of AC fans though. Valhalla wasn't great though. Wasted opportunity. I hope this isn't the same but I am looking forward to giving it a go.
I love the fact that he's in the game. This is a true story about the second black samurai in Japanese history, and the first shogun ever in japanese history was also black. I respect the bravery of the devs for finally putting black people on the covers of more than just sports games. This is long overdue, and I would be honored to play this game?
@@mikesemenko4944 They wanted to separate the Samurai from the Shinobi fantasies. Still doesn't make any sense why they couldn't put it into one character.
@@ckamo10 That's not true at all. Jacob/Evie/Alexios/Kassandra/Eivor were all white and the same issue still persisted in that dual Protags didn't work well. Even if it wasn't Yasuke that still doesn't solve the problem of dividing combat and stealth into two characters. It still doesn't make sense.
Shouldn't he be Japanese, I think the problem comes from not respectfully representing culture. Nioh 1 and 2 both have the real life Yasuke and I have never heard any complaints about his depiction in those games, even though he is largely fictionalized in those ips as well. (They also have a largely fictionalized white samurai William Adams) Your making a childish and petty conclusion based on a premise that people only want to see their race represented in games, when it's clear that Ubisoft doesn't actually care about respecting japanese culture or samurai tradition.
@@TheACMJS they both have unique gameplay. People that wanna stick with only naoe gonna have a hard time in combat. If it’s really a problem to you don’t buy the game. The combat from Yasuke looks great idk why u crying
Yasuke looks good fun in fights. I am looking forward to playing as both. I'm sure the story will make it all clear.
@@latexzebra5693 that's what I said about Odyssey and Valhalla and was sorely mistaken.

Because he's great, looking forward to the fual protagonist . Great idea as always Ubisoft! Ninja and a Samurai, thank you.
I’m excited. I’ll play as Yasuke
Honestly Yasuke doesn't even look that fun to play ngl
Why is anyone even in the game??
@@michealadebz we don't know!
I think yasuke is for player who just like combat rpg.

@@TheACMJSbecause Naoe would not have fit in doing the stuff that Yasuke does

The game looks amazing but i would never play as yasuke
the simple fact is if yasuke was a white character yall wouldnt give 2 shit. its never that deep enjoy the game or dont buy it. its very simple
I would still hate it, they shouldve just made both protagonist japanese
