Oh my God that's exactly what I was thinking LOL some humble bragging, but actually it wouldn't be humble! Her life story is actually like a movie, they should make a lifetime movie out of this that she actually got discovered in high school and became a supermodel that is epic!
My greatest compliment from my husband is how I walk in high heels. I so respect that you go on the runway doing that, that requires emotional strength everyone looking at you 🙂
I can literally run in heels and the number of people I’ve ridiculously surprised by that is staggering, I even managed to teach my sister to run in them too lol. It’s really funny cause I’m a klutz normally and I’ll go all deer legged sometimes just walking, both in regular shoes and heels, so nobody expects me to be able to keep my balance while running and when I do it’s like their brain exploded. Lmao.
@@jodiehardy7220 oh I’m a general klutz even walking barefoot, I trip on air. But I have no arch whatsoever so heels, boots, and skater type shoes (vans converse etc) essentially any shoe with no arch in it where it’s just flat, are the only shoes I’ll wear. I can’t wear running shoes cause of the arches in them, and if I do wear them it’s cause I’ve taken out the arch support on the sole out and even then I can’t wear them for long, they just hurt to much and the pain will radiate up my legs and into my back, which is already messed up and if that gets hurt anymore than usual I’m laid up in bed for days. While I may be a klutz normally shoes with any type of arch or arch support make it 1000% worse and if I wear them for longer than maybe three hours, if I’m lucky, I’ll probably come away with a sprained ankle if not worse.

This cracks me up. I don’t do heels anymore. Even when I did I was like, “2 inches? Let’s not get carried away!” My mom worked in an office from 1958-2003. She wore heels every day. Her Achilles tendons actually shrunk up. She was in a lot of pain when she’d wear sneakers on the weekend. She had to start wearing smaller and smaller heels to work to slowly stretch her tendons back out.

Not me wearing heals for 2 of my 3 years of high school (early grad). They were like 2.5-3 inch but yah I had two pairs I would switch off every day. They made me 5ft 10in. The height made me feel feel strong and empowered!
I’d wear heels occasionally for school, just for fun though eventually traded regular heels for high heeled boots and such, but there were So many people who didn’t understand that you do in fact slide in heels, especially open toed ones and ones where the only thing keeping your foot in in the back is a tiny strap or a tiny amount of fabric that barely covered the heel of your foot. I’d sit down and the back of my foot would sometimes slide out if I crossed my legs cause there’d be no pressure and weight to keep the heel from hanging off my foot or it’d look like my feet slid back into my heel cause my toes weren’t showing as much if the heel was open. Way to many people would tell me my heels were to big cause of that even though they were in fact the right size, my foot just happened to get smaller when I wasn’t actively standing on them, everybody’s foot does that’s why you get up and walk around when you try on new shoes.
when i was like 8 my aunt (who used to be a model in her twenties/in the 90s) taught me and my sibling how to walk in heels. and so i’ve never had a problem with it and it’s kind of a joke at my school cuz i’ll show up on a random wednesday in 5 inch heels for no reason. 😂😂
I was the only one wearing stiletto heels (not even boots) to highschool. I've always been in awe about high heels. I always liked them. I was always into them. They make me feel like a badass and cool. At first it was a bit of a learning curve. They were uncomfortable on my toes so I had to buy gel pads. Then I had this period where I was really stiff. Then I would bop up and down because autistic walking had to intensify. It got to the last year of highschool where I would show up in 10cm (around 4 inches) stiletto heels and I would get compliments by all the female teachers and side eyes by all my classmates. Some were clearly jealous I was able to even stand in them. How do I know? They either told me they couldn't walk in those shoes or they had that annoying voice asking me things like "Wow wearing heels to school." or "Aren't those too big for you?". To clarify I have feet issues. My feet are swollen in the morning and normal feet aren't straight at the heel. So I would have a tiny gap between the shoe and my ankle. But when I walked in them you could see the shoe was my size because it wasn't moving around at all. It wouldn't slide at all. Oh btw I started wearing them when I was 17 and since then I had 6 pairs of heels and currently own 4/5. I was supposed to throw one out that doesn't look in a good shape but I can't bring myself to do it. I'm now 21, I wear heels from time to time, I have summer and winter pairs, some are square some plain stiletto (most of them are stiletto) and I walk really well in them even on my Italian cobblestone where people in sneakers fall.
I am 5'11" and I always wear low heals, wedges, or flat. I feel for you. Well you can make money for runway, and slide into flats when you are done. Congratulations on your first runway.

Shoutout to the fellow goth’s usually wearing 6-7 inch platforms to school most days 😂 as a shorter person it’s not that bad and I feel powerful but it is kinda rough on your feet of you walk without stopping for a while
With platforms(boots, platform heels are different) your foot is mostly flat give or take a 3 inch incline so it’s like the ground below you’s elevated not that your on your tip toes. It’s easy after some practice
It depends, you pay for quality and I shop with Dolls Kill, my ankle high 6-inch platforms with a 3 inch incline were 110 USD, but they can be up to and maybe over 160 USD

I could barely survive a school day with my I would say 1 1/2 inch (max) tall school shoes. I don’t know how you did it girl 😭😭😭. But hey you did great
Yasssss slay ❤
I wear 8 inch heels 😭 I get the pain
I wear heels to school everyday
Shoutout to the fellow goth’s usually wearing 6-7 inch platforms to school most days 😂 as a shorter person it’s not that bad and I feel powerful but it is kinda rough on your feet of you walk without stopping for a while
6-7 inch?! My feet would die
With platforms(boots, platform heels are different) your foot is mostly flat give or take a 3 inch incline so it’s like the ground below you’s elevated not that your on your tip toes. It’s easy after some practice
@Password Pass that makes more sense, still seems difficult tho
Also are they expensive?
It depends, you pay for quality and I shop with Dolls Kill, my ankle high 6-inch platforms with a 3 inch incline were 110 USD, but they can be up to and maybe over 160 USD
I’m 5’10” and I wore heels to school almost everyday my junior and senior year. Not 4 inches mind u. I have some 3 inch ones that I wear a lot now and I’m in college. But I’m highschool I mostly wore 1/2 inch heels. It wasn’t weird at all😅😅 I mean every once and a while I’d get a joke like you’re already tall why r u making urself taller, but no one thought wearing heels was super weird. Where tf did y’all grow up that wearing heels to school was weird or attention seeking behavior? I ish confused by these comments😂
Sometimes I go to school wearing 3 inch heels but they're platforms and I'm only 5'10 lol
I wear four inch platforms every day to school and to make it even better there all black (I’m not really emo or goth just like black clothes) and people call them emo boots
American schools are wild. I would get in trouble for wearing the wrong socks here in Australia
I wear 4” heels all the time, 6’2” 😁 F them if they can’t handle it!
Omg I've never been so early before
