I'm not having common problems at 200k miles.
Lucky one
Age? That's the true test of durability as well as engine cycles. Mileage is nothing
@@Dansk55Mercedes e50 I drive like it’s stolen wow
Those look like the cheap FORD body mounts I replaced two weeks ago it only had 98k miles on it.
Just plain craziness, why, why,why I want to enjoy my high end luxury car not just watch my hard earned money go bye bye!😣😫💸💰
Bmw a mf
if you own one of those you don't care how much it costs in the first place. depreciation is crazy with these high end cars, but mechanic prices do not depreciate lol.
Gotta love having to pull the motor to replace mounts. Done a few vehicles like that and even own one.
I just did my SLK 55, engine stayed right where it was just gotta have the right tools
@stevenverespey316 actually looked up the job on the slk 55. While it looks like a few words would be said I don't see why it would HAVE to come out. I luckily don't work on a lot of benz. They are actually one of my least favorite to work on but they are also one of the most enjoyable car brands to drive. Some have a really nice smooth ride, others are sporty with some luxury.
Every cars does that
the engine mounts on mine are plain rubber - no fluid to leak
Not Toyotas. I had a Celica for 15 years with 250k miles, only changed the clutch around 245k, no engine problem
Toyota always wins
What replacement brand do you recommend?
Lemforder. That brand is also used from the factory for suspension parts like control arms, bushings etc..
Have to take out the engine to replace it?
Bmw , friends motor mounts when out at 45k miles...Seems to be a thing these days 😮
Please tell you pulled that engine for something else. Those mounts can be done with the engine in the car

After 100000 miles
Ame A08 moi je suis électricien voiture
you could done them with taking the engine out, shm
I would say this is a case to case situation. And pls put a disclaimer that you’re working on a S class (a used car nightmare). Many models across Mercedes lineup over the 2000s were sturdy engines. Legenedary M113k being a prime example. You’re scaring off potential kids and other demographics away from taking a chance
I changed engine mounts for the first time after 25 years in my w140
100k, I've changed them with way less miles, junk just junk
