So no, pipes are no excuse for looking like the Tribe of WHAM! and Pet Shop Boys...Oh, I'm a male so my hair isn't supposed to touch my ears or collar or I will look like a woman. That's what a PENIS is for. It goes into the groupies as long as they're 18.

Some of the hairstyles went too girly, like teasing and bleaching, but simply the absence of cutting naturally results in long hair, but Bonnet and his stupid Miami Vice wardrobe and his Army Recruiter haircut stood out like a sore thumb.
He was a studio performer at best. Ronnie James Dio was right for telling Vivian Campbell to grow the Sacred-Heart-era mullet out or find another band. By Whitesnake, Campbell had grown his hair out. His replacement, Craig Goldy, had hair almost to his waist.

@@troyevitt2437Grahm was great live and had one of the best careers there is. Great album after great album. Women don't cut their hair. Short hair made him standout among the long haired hippie freaks. Who cares about a man cutting his hair? It has nothing to do with the music. I guess we shouldn't listen to Dio because of his short stature and dungeons and dragons lyrics. Miami Vice was huge in the 80's and I'm not seeing a Miami Vice wardrobe in this video. Any army recruiter would be blessed to look like Grahm Bonnet. Are you in any position to call someone girly with the way you obsess about long hair and wardrobe? I think you only like bands you are attracted to. You really were a bunch of closeted f#gs back then. You probably whacked off to DLR's assless chaps. Always loved this song and ultimately would become a huge fan of Impellitteri who have always delivered the most electrifying shred centric heavy metal. It is quite amusing to see short-haired Graham Bonnet surrounded by a bunch of long-haired rockers in the video though.
But one of my favourite moments of this video is at 4:08 when you see the drummer happily grinning and drumming away. He looked like he was having fun. That gets me every time.

Stet Howland plays drums in this vid and has some great showmanship. Pat Torpey recorded the album and is of course a master himself. RIP.

Here Everything's Better. I spent 4 SXSWs in Austin and shopped exclusively at H-E-B Have you seen the H-E-B meme showing Brisket as Hurricane/Emergency supply item? Only in Texas, or maybe large Ashkenazi communities, would BRISKET be an "emergency necessity", BWAHAHAHAHA!

Visually maybe. Chris Impellitteri might have needed to copy somebody those times. Not Graham Bonnet. By the time they shot the video Graham Bonnet had already played in Blackmore's Rainbow and had had Vai and Malmsteen in his band few years before. For him Malmsteen was just a bland Blackmore copy. Musically, it just sounds like Alcatrazz (Bonnet's band).

Standing like a statue waiting for the train
In front of the cigarette vendor
Slicking back his hair looking at the machine
    Reflecting like a mirror
Pulling up his collar to avoid the breeze
    Of the oncoming bullet
Taking inventory of the things he needs,
    He's checking out his wallet
Standing before our eyes straight and tall
Here comes your hero, stand in line,
Straight as an arrow, stand in line
The mother's son, as perfect as his pompadour
    A Spanish-American lover
Heading from the East into West LA
He has to dance La Bamba
So sophisticated is the French cologne
    He borrowed from his father
Just another pistol, waiting for someone
To come and pull the trigger
So let his bullet fly through the air...
He'll take you home, stand in line,
If you deserve him, stand in line
Here comes your hero, stand in line,
Straight as an arrow, stand in line
That perfect stranger, stand in line
IF you deserve him, stand in line
Here comes your hero, stand in line,
Straight as an arrow, stand in line
