Hey Mark! You're such an inspiration! I'm an engineer too! I hope to be able to build a house for my family and autistic daughter in the near future. I would also love to hear more about your story. Thank you both for sharing!
wow. love Mark's attitude to just try things high performance and not afraid to do it his way. Would love to see follow up videos to see how he feels these techniques worked or not.
I'm the same way. I always want perfection so I always want to do everything myself. There's very few people that I have found that can do things up to my standard.
I bought a small house that I’m trying to completely renovate by myself but I need help figuring out a few tiny details. I can’t get any architects or engineers to return my messages.
A note on the clothes dryer: Our household recently acquired a heat pump LG Washtower (a heat pump dryer and washer stacked together) and it was about the same price as the all-in-one washer/dryers at the time of purchase, and allowed more loads to be done in given period of time than a single all-in-one unit. In my opinion, everyone should be considering a heat pump dryer since they use VASTLY less energy, don't require venting, and don't depressurize the building envelope.
