Ms. Anita, You are an excellent teaching! I love the explanations and tips.😊 I am returning to sewing (now focusing on myself) after quilting for several years, and I am thrilled to have found you site! Thank you so much.
Excellent sew along. Very clear and easy to follow instructions! I have this pattern - totally motivated to make it now! Thank you. And I agree, who doesn't love new lounge wear? Definitely makes a nice gift, too.
Very nice! Your backstitching with your walking foot is the exact same way I do backstitching on my old Singer Treadle machines! It is always best to do it that way, especially on knits. Love the video.
That's so neat that you sew on a treadle machine! I've never used one before. So nice to hear that others backstitch with what I call the old school method.
Love Love this type of video and that the pattern is available. I order it right away. I'm going to loose the fear of sewing knits. I learned so much. thank you, thank you 🌹
Love love love your teaching Anita , thank you for this in-depth tutorial I am a beginning clothes sewer and you give me so much information about a garment you are teaching us❤
Ooooh, you make my heart smile. You are exactly why I'm here. I have a heart for beginners. I really want to help you and others learn to sew and grow your skills. I'm so happy you are here and enjoying the videos.
Hi, I have Brother BQ3100 machine and it is very similar to the soprano and chorus ( I learnt brothers and baby locks are from the same company) and, you are right, it can be very confusing. However, i was able to figure out that their needle position was default to the left position {weird i know, i learnt it is because it is not an American designed machine} if you want your needle position in the middle, your fabric will have to be at the 2cm mark for your accurate 1.5cm or 5/8” seam allowance. Hope that helps
Nice to see your neckband sitting flat round your neck. I see so many sewists who dont have their neckbands short enough so it then sits up and completely spoils their top
Still waiting for my pattern to arrive, but hope to “eventually” sew the loungewear set. I am a quilter, but want to sew some garments and do have a machine and serger, so should be ready to go when I get the pattern and supplies-thanks!!

Your work is beautiful! Love your tutorials even though I don’t sew clothes. You taught me how to use my serger. Maybe I should start. lol.
Yes, pull that serger out and get to work. 😂
Great sew along. Thanks
You're welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed the sew along.
Hi. Could you do a video on measuring seam allowances on the baby lock? I din it confusing using all the mark. And which on to uses.

Yes, the neckband gapping is not a good look at all.
Still waiting for my pattern to arrive, but hope to “eventually” sew the loungewear set. I am a quilter, but want to sew some garments and do have a machine and serger, so should be ready to go when I get the pattern and supplies-thanks!!
Awesome! I hope your pattern comes soon. Have fun sewing your loungewear.
Anita - any comments about the sizing on the pattern? Would you say true to size?
Yes, absolutely true to size.
Can you tell me where you bought the white rope case for your pins. I so need one of those :)
That cute little basket was a gift from another sew sister and I love it so much.
Anita, What fabric is your pressing cloth?
Oh shoot! I forgot to mention that. I'm using Organza fabric for the press cloth.
I think I have similar fabric from Joanne's 🤔
How do you measure the neck without a pattern
