Mom is delightful. So are you, Gabriel. Perhaps you inherited your warmth, honesty and sense of humor from this marvelous lady. She is lucky to have you as a son. You, of course, are blessed to have her as mother. Love to both of you!
Your mum is seriously cool. Living in a commune in 1970, going to Belfast in the 70s, Reading Bernadette Develinne, taking refugees. What a woman. Go girl!!
You and your mom are so sweet together, she is lovely. Easy to see where your wanderlust came from. Me too, my dad was military, Army. And my brother was born in Osaka. We traveled the world, including living in Ankara, Turkey in the 1960s. I have always felt very blessed to have seen so much of the world. My husband and I are enjoying your channel. Great videos, thank you.
Hi! My dad was Airforce and my family lived in Ankara in the late 60's.. I went to George C. Marshall Regional HS. What a wild and crazy place it was! Also, lots of educational experiences at the ancient Greek sites.
You are so lucky to have a mother like that! My mother was a Hermit :( I am just now beginning to travel now that i am in my 30's, And i am LOVING it! So many things out there i never even thought EXISTED! If i get to go to 2% of the places i have watched you travel to i will die a happy person :) lol
Dash Cam My family doesn't travel either. If I never started traveling on my own I wouldn't know half of what I know now about the world. This sit down interview by Gabriel with his Mom is simply refreshing. Thank you Gabriel 😊
Dash Cam My mom tells me the places I can't go because "They're dangerous!" While I'm for advice, I don't want to curl up into the fetal position and die. I didn't have money earlier in my life and didn't start traveling until I was 41. I'm enjoying it! It helps me learn my foreign language better. I'm interested in ethnography and architecture, food. I'd like to take trips all the time!
I was 29 when I travelled for the 1st time. Now I'm 41 and I háve to go away at least once a year. Better late than never right? We have to enjoy life.
I love seeing your mom-son relationship. I wish I had had a son or a brother. Always missed that in my life. Enjoy your sweet mom while you still have her!
What a lovely lady! You have such an interesting mom.....Now we know where your traveler spirit comes from....... And your hair...the waves on your hair they are just amazing....I have noticed in many of your videos where you have your hair a little bit grown .. their are beautiful waves 😉.. keep on traveling! Thank you for your videos!
I have been waiting to see your Mom ! Thanks for this video . PLEASE Gabriel kindly convey our greetings and best wishes to her . TELL her that she should proud for you !!!!
My mother in Law is so sweet, tell her hi! 😉😘🤣 I love that she is such a traveler at her age. I think it really helps to keep the mind young. What an amazing spirit she has. I love her stories, hitch hiking and using the pretty blonde as bare. I just think I could sit and talk to her for hours and listen to her travels. Great interview with your Mom there Gabe.
Honestly the more of the videos I watch the more I like and respect you man. Your mom is awesome, she reminds me of my grandmother just an awesome soul. Keep doing what you do man 🤙🏼
Awww, that’s a really cool video! Your mom is great. My mom was born the same year, but in October. I’m so glad she was willing to talk about all of her adventures! Thanks to the both of you for doing this video. 😊👍🏼✌🏼
Your mum looks amazing. I am a nurse myself and the first in my family to travel and continue to do so until i wont be able to do it. Looking at your mum inspires me more to continue be healthy so i can continue doing what i love the most traveling.
I share the same birthday as your mom June 2nd except my of birth was 1949. Very great watching you & your mom sharing your enthusiasm for traveling! Thank you both for sharing.
What a cool video with your Mom Gabriel! It’s evident where you acquired your thirst for travel and your openness to other cultures. I didn’t start traveling abroad till I met my second husband who is from Romania. I have since seen so many wonderful countries and met some great people too.
Really enjoyed this! Your mom is so cool!!!! Really such a blessing you were exposed to the traveling since a young age! Makes me definitely want to plan more trips
Love this interview with your mum, really enjoying all your videos, love the ones from Croatia, good memories when I was there in the seventies .from Vsrar all the way to the Albanian border. Can't wait for more videos, and all your positive comments, understand you switch them off now. Keep up the good work. And take care.
Oh Gabriel I'm so happy to find this video of your Beautiful mom, I've been wondering about your parents while I've been binge watching so many of your video's..Aww she's just Beautiful inside and out...
dude this is so awesome!! I just got back from a 7 month backpacking trip in LATAM. You were a HUGE inspiration for me to actually pull the trigger and leave for the trip. Looking back I was so happy I did. Keep it groovy!
I can’t wait to book the Birthday trip for my mother to Poland! It will definitely be different than my solo travel. It’s so nice to see that your inspiration to travel came from your mother. It’s part of why I travel as well.
Listening to your mom talk about her trips reminds me of my current trip! I started in London and the Ireland, Amsterdam, Germany, Poland and did Auschwitz 1 and 2, warsaw uprising, the italy, malta, sicily, italy again, slovenia and now croatia for a few more days. Was in scotland 2 years ago like she said. Pretty AWESOME!! Now ai see where you get the travel bug from!! Great video brother! So glad you did this with your mom! You will look back on it in later years and smile. I should do one with my 91 yr old dad too when I get back to florida in sept. Funny your mom is from Miami and you haven't been to florida. I grew up in fort lauderdale. Anyway! Safe travels in hawaii bro!
Wow Gabe I just discovered a video of yours 4 hours ago and have been binge watching them since. Wowed to find this one released today as my most recent watch. What a great interview with Mom. Your story is inspirational and brings me back to my youth. I’m about your younger brothers age and grew up in Maine. (Funny in a recent post of yours you posted a pic from a rainbow gathering in the 1990’s and I swear I went to college with the blond standing next to you) Anyways I’m 44 and planning a euro trip that I should have done at 22 but put off back then - 9 countries etc - and your stories are the most down to earth I’ve watched. Keep traveling - keep reporting - and though I haven’t lived in Maine in 20 plus years it’d be cool to see a vid of you checking it out. Peace fellow traveler!
What a lovely lady your Mum is, and I guess that she travelled so much when she was younger gives her a greater understanding of why you travel too :) unfortunately not everyone has that, and so we tend to get pushed into the regular life that society expects, job, house, car, maybe even family and all of those things limit our ability to travel. I didn´t really start travelling until I was in my mid-late 30´s, got divorced, let house, car and job go and hit the road. In some ways a sad time, but finally being able to follow my dream opened me up to so much more than I would have experienced had I stayed, so it all works out in the long run :)
Gabe, your mom is deservedly proud of her son!! I hang with my 75 year old mom on trips. Dude, be proud, your mom rocks!
Is your mom still alive?
Ed Childs acid trips?
