Good Afternoon Fel from Florida (USA). Thank you for visiting Macau and providing us with a great history lesson. I visited Macau back in 1994, and I know that it is like Hong Kong. It is a special administrative region of China. Although it falls under China's jurisdiction, it remains autonomous both politically and economically. It is commonly referred to as the Las Vegas of Asia because of its gaming and gambling industry. I can't wait for my visit to China early next year to visit some of these historical sites and Macau, now that it is more built up and modernized since 1994. Thank you for sharing, I totally enjoyed this video. Stay safe!❤
Before RUclips and social media. The American media ran things. They had me believe that Russia is bad , Russia is cold and the people are poor with a strong military. They had me thinking that China is this racist place that hates black people it's dirty , they had me thinking America is this perfect country where your dreams come true, they had many people around the world think here in Africa we have no roads we all poor and starving and we walk with animals. I am from South Africa 🇿🇦
That is true but a lot of countries use media propaganda on their citizens against other countries. A lot of foreigners think they typical American is lazy and gluttonous.
You spot on about that. I am also from South Africa and for many years have been working in the broadcast field and was always amazed how badly informed many of my overseas colleagues were when I met with them either abroad or locally. I am impressed how China is very quickly busy overtaking the western world. I'm on my third year studying Mandarin because I believe its necessary. If China considers learning English is necessary so I believe learning Mandarin is necessary to get the cultures understood.
Not everybody is the same my friend. Everyone is nice in front of you or in front of your camera. When you are a person of different colour to the natives and you do something wrong that's when you realise the real nature of a person after seeing their looks and hearing their comments. All is good until the shit hits the fan.
Not only in China, in fact, humility + politeness + local language are the keys to integrating into any culture on this planet. However, prejudice and arrogance make some Westerners still keep their worldviews in the village even if they travel around the world.
Hello guy, Tu es le meilleur! Tu maîtrise ton élément et j’aimerais te dire que j’ai passé toute une journée à regarder tes vidéos et franchement tu es le BEST Keep going!
Nice vid bro, your interaction with the locals is on another level, the dance was crazy, actually Macau is very beautiful, I once visited in 2018 but was only for a day. I regret I didn’t spend much longer. I should go there again some day. Thanks for this video it was so enlightening. You never disappoint
wow this video was amazing, I can't believe I just watched a 1hr video but it was soo good i had to finish it, learnt quite a lot about macau today, thanks man keep up the good work.
Tudu bang Fel. This is your South African brother here, I enjoyed this surprisingly beautiful Portugues in China episode. Thanks my brother and stay blessed
@@FelThommy as a mukongo (I live in France) those idomatic sounds are sometimes hard to explain to people from other culture....but when you got the code there is no way to misunderstand the meaningfull point of that sound. Few people maybe noticed he somehow directly knew you were from ghana. His joy was intense ! 🤣
Yeah she got the mojo that one. I bet she appears to be very outspoken and friendly but is actually a very shy person and doesn't trust people too easily. Some of them special ones are like that
@@FelThommy Yeah was in Hong Kong, another place I didn't have enough time to fully explore and will return to. But thoroughly enjoyed. If you go back to HK, you gotta go to Lantau Peak on the cable cars to Big Buddha temple. Stunning stuff. But been fascinated with Macao and HK since being a teen. Darn Jason Bourne novels😄
@15:59 Ruins of St Pual's cathedrel. Built from 1602 to 1640 by the Jesuits, during the time in which Portugal and Spain were under the same crown, the church was one of the largest Catholic churches in Asia at the time. It was destroyed by a fire during a typhoon on 26 January 1835. Really appreciate the history lesson @49:30. One of your longest videos but completely engaging.
Fel very many thanks for this high octane positive vibes Macao vlog. I man love the positive energy of this China's "Little Portugal" vlog. Keep up the fabulous good works bro. Ciao !
Great video Fel. I enjoyed seeing some places I visited the last time I was in Macau. Intending to go again next year, hope there will still be peace around the world by then. Thank you for uploading this video.
i was visiting macau that exact same day, coz the old people and parents with children were selling the stickers on street to raise money for the elders. I didnt know there is a party there that night if i knew i would have gone to have a look haha
is it easier to understand other foreigners who speak mandarin? i struggle with natives because they speak so fast but when i talk to another foreigner speaking mandarin, i can understand better haha
I man would love to see more of every nook and cranny of Macao and also more of the super high techs innovations of China's tech city , and the latest in transparent glass smart phones, tablets , TVs & lap tops. Thanks Fel !
Cool! I would like to go to Macau, do the people there speak Portuguese? As a Brazilian, I would love to talk to the people there in my native language.
The food was the highlight!!😋 You can find good food when you ask the locals who are honest!! Macau seems sus on somethings though but @00:37:00 Fel kinda lost his rhythm 😂🤣🤣!!
By far my longest video here😂…

Yes and now we know the USA isn't really a democracy and not really a free country as they propagandize.
That is true but a lot of countries use media propaganda on their citizens against other countries. A lot of foreigners think they typical American is lazy and gluttonous.

If China really hates black people, why did it start to help Africa 73 years ago?😅
