Possible but not really. Gordon can fight as long as he has weapons along with his suit, even a crowbar is enough. I am watching this for a like 10th time and just realized that Gman in world model doesn't have teeth while the cinematic one has xd
It's time to choose.
that's why I say
Black Mesa is the real Half-Life Source
I was going to say G-Man sounds like Barney but I forgot both Barney and G-Man had the same actor.
I love how G-Man talks. There's something ... off about it.
Wait until Gordon start to bhop the shit out of the map
They should have had Japanesebushbaby do the lines for Gman, he's practically spot fucking on!
To all of you who said that Micheal Shapiro wasnt available at the time, you're wrong. He was available but charged the collective $2400 for the redo of the 4 minute lines. Since the collective are just a bunch of fans of the game (they have a very small capital for the game, like less than $5k for equipment and licensing etc) they instantly refused that offer and went with the free option of hiring Kevin to do an impression instead.
oh man its a shame they didn't add the cut gman dialogue for the bad ending
What cut dialogue?
@@jodgee2374 Something about giving them 'the man responsible for their holocaust'
@@jodgee2374to quote "no regrets, mr Freeman but there are a few survivors of your personal holocaust who would like to know the man responsible for the total annihilation of their race"
"Black Messa" - HDTF
Original "Black Maysa"
I have heard the gman way too many times to find this convincing. All I can think of when I heard this is "that's not Mike shapiro"
Does not sound like same voice actor. But close. It’s sad will never see HL3.
"It’s sad will never see HL3" have you been living under a rock for the past month?
Black Mesa is the only HL3 we get
@@natb8800 So you're also living under a rock.
wanna elaborate for me ? i would really appreciate it
Sasha Farron HL3 is coming out in March of 2020
...and then gordon single handandly wiped out the remaining xen forces, and destroyed the portal between the combine and earth. After returning to what remains of the Black Mesa facility gordon was lauded a hero, and he drunk himself happily to sleep as he slept on his headcrab pillow.
The End.
I think the G-man is part of the combine because he said "The border world ,xen, is our control now."
I like to imagine myself like some Eldritch horror, just like the Gman is. The difference however is that while the Gman is a professional businessman, I am pretty much a psychotic child. All I want is to have fun with the realities I play with. See who can reach me by leaving the world behind by ascending both in brawn and brain, and who will stay chained to their current evolutionary form. Who gives me the most pleasure and therefore must be preserved in order to maintain the quality for the next play. I grant them knowledge and power. All I ask in return is that their hearts and souls live up to the body's quality. Only the beautiful and interesting ones can have a chance to take control and become my rivals. But I can only find those through emotion and psychology. The body definitely helps in the experience, as it's a form of expression, but it's not the product whose quality I seek to test.
Ah ! The small number of people/characters who can satisfy me is very practical !
I love how they incorporated the crossfire multiplayer map.
The train ripping apart in the bad ending was *genius.*
There was a no answer too? I just didnt play the xen yet, this is impressive
No offense to the voice actor but he sounds more like Saul good man than the gman imo
gman: “time to choose”
*stares blankly at gman*
gman: “it’s time to choose”
Guys we are so close to half-life 3
I expected "Time... Mr.Freeman?"
“You’re threatening me, you took my weapons, and you’re a fucking time lord. this is bullshit”
Pronunciation is a bit off but the mannerisms are spot on
Gordon Freeman in the flesh. Or rather, in the hazard suit. I took the liberty of relieving you of your weapons; most of them were government property. As for the suit, I think you’ve earned it. The borderworld, Xen, is in our control for the time being, thanks to you. Quite a nasty piece of work you managed over there. I am impressed. That’s why I’m here, Mr. Freeman. I have recommended your services to my employers, and they have authorized me to offer you a job. They agree with me that you have limitless potential. You’ve proved yourself a decisive man, so I don’t expect you’ll have any trouble deciding what to do. If you’re interested, just step into the portal and I will take that as a yes. Otherwise...well...I can offer you a battle you have no chance of winning. Rather an anticlimax, after what you’ve just survived (...)
gonna be honest, shoulda gotten the gman voice actor in all those memes you see
I think it's only me who says this but Gman voice was more satisfying in the original Half Life
Nice impression. I really felt it.
Excellent Mike Shapiro impression! I would've loved to see more environments like in the original game's ending tho
Yoda, if he was disguised as GMAN.
I just find it funny how I can hear Barney in his voice and I can't shake the knowledge that the same voice actor voiced them both
This is SO good, I love this so much
Wow this 20 years before the stated of half life 2 im never playing half life sources agian this is amazing
Amazing to see HL1’s ending in this resolution, although I cannot say that I like the voice work as compared to the original.
I want to say though Kevin Sisk did an amazing job as a voice actor in this game, and he sounds similar to Gman but there are other people who are very good at impersonating Gman like JapaneseBushBaby and other people.
i think the sequence is absolutely amazing
but that gman impression is
_ehhhhhh_
there are some parts where he nails it and the rest is him trying to hard
At 1:13 behind Gman is what I think to be the portal that the combine use to invade xen, I dunno about anyone else but that’s my theory.
He’s no Michael Shapiro, but he’s still great
