She sounded great Pete. It’s a gift really. Still a very much useable machine. I’m doing a job on the bench at work this morning and watching this as I worked made it a lot easier to deal with Monday. Great work mate

Thanks Steve. I was thinking of you when I picked this up. There's a lot of machines in your yard that were just "given" to you, and I've always though, "you're so lucky, no one 'gives' me anything". But now I stand corrected!! Ha ha!! Hope your day went well. Cheers!!

Hi Frank, the more we run it, the better it gets. I'm halfway through doing a service on it (waiting on parts), I expect it will be almost perfect when it's done.

Great find Pete ! The price was right . Strange muffler , Do you think that is was made that way to stop water from getting in ? What happens if you remove that cap on the side ? None the less ,the engine sounds pretty good from here . Another project 🌵

Hi Scott, yeah we're pretty happy with the outcome! I believe that is some kind of 'water trap' on the muffler, and I've tried, but I can't get the thing to unscrew. If I had to, I would persevere, but I'm pretty sure I've got all the water out, now! And yes, it's a project I'm very much enjoying!! Take care. :-)
