The trickster cutscenes make more sense with the lore behind it. Basically he’s been sending his producer (the lady that broke the door down) scary and threatening letters disguised as a crazed fan so he can divert the attention away from himself when he commits murders on tour. He kidnaps the guy in the hawaiian shirt in order to frame him and make him look like the crazed fan so yun-jin (the woman) and everyone else don’t suspect him
Yun Jin still suspects him at the end when she sees his knife and connects the dots that something is up after finding his USB stick of one of his victims in his hotel room earlier. She just chooses to remain silent because if Trickster was outed as a serial killer her career as a music producer would be over.
In the first cutscene, Blight was walking through what we can assume is The Void, it’s the place where survivor lose hope, and killers refuse to kill are placed.
The scene at 19:30 with the unpopular mayor has to do with the survivor Nea. She was a graffiti artist that used to write and draw places for notoriety and the thrill of it. Then the mayor of her town ended up making an under the table deal for money that had the result of making their town's water supply dirty. Which led to most of the town getting sick from drinking it. Nea found out and had a change of heart, deciding to use her art style to expose his deal to the public instead of her own street cred.
So yeah, some clarification is in order. The cutscenes take place at the end of each tome, which means that you are basically reading the last page of each story. As you can see, it’s not always clear what is happening, as well as why it is happening. I highly recommend you find some videos which showcase the tome stories as a whole. Pixel Bush and AZHYMOVS do this the best. I recommend Pixel Bush, as he goes over the characters, themes, history, and style of the tomes, rather than just reading them. I understand that the video was probably already recorded, but I highly recommend you find proper videos to help explain the stories in each Tome.
The Huntresses lore is sad. Her mother died by an elk impaling her when Anna (The Huntress) was very young. Anna learned how to hunt and as she got older she hunted bigger and bigger things, eventually she hunted humans. She raided towns and killed the men, women and boys, but could never bring herself to kill the girls. She tied the girls up after raids. But Anna never fed them, gave them water, or warmer clothes to keep them safe, Anna never knew why they kept dying, so she kept killing the townspeople and taking the girls. Every now and then soldiers would come across her home and she would slaughter them. Also this isn’t all of the lore but you all should also react to the tome pages and what they give towards lore, they are more in depth than the videos.

Yes the twins were being chased down and Charlotte was protecting her conjoined twin, Victor. In the twins lore, the two of them were born to a mother who was killed in front of the two of them because people thought she was a witch after she gave birth to conjoined twins. After that the townsfolk basically hunted down Charlotte and Victor for decades, and eventually a dark cult did infact manage to imprison them for a time. Eventually, after escaping, Victor passes away still conjoined to his twin sister and Charlotte has to live the next ten years protecting the body of her twin before The Entity brings her and her brother into the realm and she can see Victor again.

The one that starts with the moon going yellow and the plant growing, that was Trapper chained up. Blight was in the lore before he was Blight, experimenting on the other killers (they have blighted skins in game too). Eventually he used the serum on himself and became The Blight

One big thing that need explanation is the tome where we see the guy in the tower going into the story of a comic, it basically means that he can go into any fictional story such as Halloween, Scream, hellraiser, etc... explaining how the killers from franchises got into the realm of the entity. each killer are kinda canon in the DBD lore.
@@callumdeakin170 If you lose your nail, it will take about 7 to 10 days for the nail bed to heal. A new fingernail will take about 4 to 6 months to grow to replace the lost nail. Toenails take about 12 months to grow back I’m pretty sure atleast
6:20 As you might have guessed, this is Rin, the Spirit. The Samurai she sees are her ancestors, Akito, his father Kazen, AKA The Oni, and his father, Renjiro, the fake Samurai and first Samurai of the Yamaoka Family. 15:37 The little boy here is the Wraith. He's ringing the bell as a sign of warding off danger like the soldiers(since he lived through the Nigerain Civil War), or evil spirits. He got the bell he kills with from his father and rings it to ward away evil. Since he's controlled by the Entity, it's possible he rings it to warn others to stay away from him.
Also for 13:14 was the Hag’s lore. When she was still human her friend used the hexes (hag’s power) and when she made fun of their teachers death karma got bad. And that hex meant good luck
Actually there’s a lot more to that. At first Lisa (the Hag) didn’t think much to the hexes, just stories and phony voodoo told by her grandmother. She tried out the good luck hex and was surprised it worked, but remembered the warnings her grandmother told her about consequences to using the hexes. Her best friend didn’t care about that and used the hexes herself repeatedly. It was at the funeral where the consequences to using the hexes caught up to Lisa’s friend, leading to her death.
In the tome where the casket fell on the girl, she had a symbol on her hand, a circle with a line crossed on it is supposed to mean good luck, it's a symbol in I think black magic, but magic like that has its drawbacks and I guess her luck ran out.
the guy in the tomes (the rift) was called the observer or the archivist . he is no longer there, something happened to him as you seen earlier in this video
The tomes come from the archives so beside the lore that you get written with each character, you unlock pages in the books "Sebastian" is unrevealing to you. So, in a way you are travelling down the memory lane .. however, you only got to see the cut scenes which miss a lot on the written pages that the game provides and obviously have lots of information.
That place with the school boys was related to David King, a boxer and a survivor. It confirms that he's the first LGBTQ+ character, with him being a gay man.
Every time there is a demon bunny we think of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. So while it was terrifying in this. The thought of the movie and how funny the bit was in that makes it less scary 😅

Plauge was actually doing a sacrifice of her mentor, Haban. He essentially raised her and helped her get to the point she was. I’m assuming she killed him in hopes of getting rid of the plauge that was going through out baboloyn. “Ik i spelled it wrong” but she was more then likely crying and it was her make-up
Adiris actually killed Haban before the plague arrived. Haban’s faith in their god was beginning to waver and the other priestesses found out. Adiris was conflicted over what to do but ultimately chose her god over her mentor. She killed Haban in their name of her god because he was becoming a non-believer
Basically Blight was hired to make a serum that could make soldiers super soldiers. But then he got carried away with his personal experiments and he did it to himself creating a weird abomination

If you can find videos of the tome entries I highly recommend listening to them. It'll give context to a lot of the videos. And the one for the Trickster is more of a complete narrative because it is 2 movies from 2 different characters that fit together.

The reason the man exploded in the huntresses trailer is that they were a Russian soldier during the world war. When soldiers would come through she would stalk and kill entire groups one after another. She also has a little girl as she doesn’t like killing them as she lost her mother when she was little. So she keeps them “safe” with her. To bad she forgets to feed em.
I actually lost interest in the lore because it was getting very boring but the cutscene with David and his love interest at 39:40 in school is actually very cute

Some made more sense than others, but someone had commented it is the last page of the story we see watching which makes sense. Would be cool for them to fully animate and voice the lore 😀
Yeah these vids will make little sense watching them but not knowing the stories. Basically the archives will tell a story and the video will be the final chapter and ending to said story. Makes sense that you are confused. Also, If you want to see some fun memey videos showcasing play, I recommend Grim Gatsby and his 'Life of a ____ main' videos. Don't let the egregious thumbnails make you think the videos are inappropriate for your audience. The videos themselves are clean and the later videos are amazingly edited!

The tomes add so much to the lore, and they double as a saving grace for characters with lacking lore, like Hag.
Hags tome isn't a saving grace, if anything it makes her already mediocre story even worse.

You really wouldn't understand stand the tomes by watching the cutscenes u gotta read them but in game the overseer reads it for u you should try listening to them 👍😁

The reason the man exploded in the huntresses trailer is that they were a Russian soldier during the world war. When soldiers would come through she would stalk and kill entire groups one after another. She also has a little girl as she doesn’t like killing them as she lost her mother when she was little. So she keeps them “safe” with her. To bad she forgets to feed em.

Some made more sense than others, but someone had commented it is the last page of the story we see watching which makes sense. Would be cool for them to fully animate and voice the lore 😀

Yeah these vids will make little sense watching them but not knowing the stories. Basically the archives will tell a story and the video will be the final chapter and ending to said story. Makes sense that you are confused.
Also, If you want to see some fun memey videos showcasing play, I recommend Grim Gatsby and his 'Life of a ____ main' videos.
Don't let the egregious thumbnails make you think the videos are inappropriate for your audience. The videos themselves are clean and the later videos are amazingly edited!
