You have to disable the hounds scent glands temporary; and denature the proteins/phenols which cause odors in the first place. Masking isn’t enough
Wrap what you are trying to hide in a cloth or two of relatively fresh IPA alcohol. A hound will be blinded by the odor and simultaneously you will be destroying the microbes/terpines/phenols/ethyls which cause odor.
Not only that, the dogs ability to detect odors will be severely dampened for a duration of about 30 seconds, Every time they get a huff.
It works for everything. Your welcome.
Also vacuum seal your bags a week before travel in Mylar bags
Pretty sure he covers using strong odors and how the dogs reaction will to pull away will tell the officer your trying to cover an odor.

I'm surprised the drug cartels don't just smear pot or other drug residue on thousands of cars. If there are thousands of false hits. The dogs are no longer of use.
Heck, they can creat puddles and dump some pot in it and then every car that drives through the puddles gets pet smell.

Basically everything has pores aluminium including but it takes longer the odour gets through it. Y have to try how long it's gonna take through aluminium at home 1st. Do the test just to be sure before y smuggle anything.

Factual Inaccuracy: Everything is legit except for his comments about dog eyesight. Dogs do not see in shades of grey, they see colors albeit less colors than humans do. Humans are a mammalian trichromat (three cones) and dogs are a mammalian dichromat (two cones) which means they see colors differently but they still see colors. And their eyesight is pretty good, actually, just not as good as their noses (usually). They most definitely have depth perception, i.e. they see in "3d". It's actually 2d they struggle with so basically the opposite of what he said.
Small thing, but still. Everything else is legit tho, far as I know.

@Craig G I agree. Not only that, but several case studies have been made over the years, working with dogs and how they react, respond and acknowledge or not acknowledge colors etc, and internationally the results are all conclusive.
I was going to say the same thing. With the 2D comment, dogs are predators with front set eyes, that helps them differentiate depths.
Factual Inaccuracy: Good correction on the dog. He's very wrong on his leaking plastics and in hours theory. He's partially right and half wrong. The vast majority of dogs are only alerting to their handler suspicions. Like the video said. maybe one dog in a hundred might work , why bother. Most judges will accept the handler's word that the dog alerted and so no search warrant is needed. And when an illegal search turns up negative, the cop just says : " Well, someone had marijuana in your car/house ". Even in your video of the gas tank bust, at the very beginning you see the cop directing the dog. And your " story " about permeation is bullcrap. If drug-sniffing dogs were reliable, the airports would full of them, they would be at every border crossing. Real drug/bomb/body dogs are rare and expensive to train. It's much cheaper to just fake it and you can't cross-examine a dog.
After so many false positive alerts the dog either sucks at their job or they are alerting because of something else. Smugglers aren't the only ones trying to mask their tricks. These dogs alert on command since they don't know any better. The POS on the other end of that leash is supposed to.

It does have pores like every material but it takes longer for the odour to get through. If y put it into the glass with clean hands a few minutes before the cop with the dog check, y should be fine. Just act normal cause if the cop will be under the suspicion he fakes the dog detection by quietly saying 'get it, get it' dog scratch the car or yr pants and y screwed anyway. As y see the cop is the one y should be worried about not the dog.

the coffee is suposed to wrap the package , if its done right theres no chance for the dog to detect it as it has the ability to contain the smell for months and u can tell its working cause the oficer has no examples as such examples PASS and not get detected , he speaks only for the failed attempts , narco dogs detect 75% of the cases , but they detect less than 20% of the total volume of weed , we should thank the police for using the dogs as a staple

when I'm searching a vehicle I don't care what the dog is sniffing at or barking at despite what ever it is i search it , I don't care if it's a box of french fries or a box full of roses. and I've found alot of drugs so far and I've put alot of criminals behind bars..
