We saw it on Wednesday. Phenomenal and still on our minds days later. Incredible ensemble. Jack Wolfe’s voice *chef’s kiss* it’s amazing to see him on the west end at last
I got chills seeing the stage at the curtain calls in this video. Suddenly took me back to seeing Marin Mazzie on stage in this role. Such powerful emotions in this show!
shut up i went to the same show and i actually saw myself in the clip of the curtain call!!! 😭😭😭😭 first row of the left side of the stage, second from the left LMAO i'm still thinking about this show and the choices they made with this production. the spinny stage, the acting, the vocals - my goodness. what an electrifying cast and company, truly indescribable ❤️ i'm glad you both enjoyed the show!
Hello, someone involved with the production here, sorry you got the brunt of the haze!!!! Yes the machine is on a cycle where, if it dips below a certain level it automatically gives a puff to bring itself back up, which is what you experienced. We actually have 2 haze machines on N2N, the other one is sat above the stage SR tho so less likely to blast the audience. The one that got you is in a sort of semi-permanent position for all Donmar shows. Anyway, so glad you enjoyed the show and no, the balloons didn't get cut and yes, they do still keep ending up in the front rows of the stalls haha!
I love how enthusiastic you are about theatre and life in general even if you're "grappling with that gray and☔weather And you're living on a latte and a prayer"
This show remains to be one of my favorites! I’ve played keys for a university production of it, saw the National Tour (Pearl Sun as Diana filling in for Alice), and a professional production at Meadowbrook Theatre and, I even have one of the national tour’s costumes! I’m envious of you two getting to see this!
Possibly! It’s been a long time since the last recording - think it might depend on if there are enough changes with this version to justify it but Tom Kitt was at the same performance as us so that’s a positive sign for one
Love this show (Caissie Levy is a treasure!) and I honestly love how you and Mickey do a little guide through the areas wherever you are seeing shows to showcase the foods, drinks, atmosphere, history of an area. It all makes it so informative and entertaining! *on computer but....water emoji*
☔Glad you got to see it. I saw it a few years back and was not emotionally prepared for it. Never seen so many people consoling one another at intermission before.
I was actually an assistant producer of the Prague production of Next To Normal, so when I heard it's finally coming to West End I grabbed a ticket immediately (that was back in January) and I'm so glad I did. We also had a non-replica production, so I'm really curious about this take. When the cast wasn't announced I was kind of hoping for some people from Dear Evan Hansen among the teenagers, but Jack Wolfe, Eleanor Worthington-Cox and Jack Ofrecio are absolutely perfect. Oh boy, the next month is going to be long 🙂
I work for a charity which is all about children of parents with a mental illness (Our Time) so after weeks of thinking I'd missed out, am SO excited to finally have secured a ticket the other day. Seeing it next month. 🌦☔️
💧 were doing Next to Normal at one of the 3 theaters I work at and love that we're all seeing (different productions) it at the same time 😂 ❤ you guys!
I'll be blunt I have sadly never seen a production live but like Mickey Jo I'm a master of the boots & happened to hear full audio of the new production. Though I won't judge off what I heard per say I'm in the US (& won't be seeing it) so will at least say DAMN it's time for a new cast recording! As someone who followed Ghost since it's original run (finally seeing it on tour here ) hearing Caissie go from Molly to Elsa to now Diana is a thing of beauty. I am so thrilled the show has finally made it over there & I hope it transfers/tours for years to come so as many as possible can enjoy it.
What fun ! And what joyful, infectious enthusiasm in all your videos (as in Michael's, which I've been following with great interest from the start)! As a professional journalist, I know perfectly well what the role of a PR person is, and how they work, but I think it would be a good idea to tell your audience how the operations work. Not everyone knows. In any case, it's great !
I really want to watch this show!! Unfortunately, I’m only going to be in London for a short amount of time, and the trip was quite unplanned, so it’s a shame it’s completely sold out!💧
I went to see it on Tuesday and I am very happy that I have tickets booked to see it again in September because it’s definitely one I want to watch again. Also my seats were the row behind where you were sat (B2 and 3 in the circle) and I had zero issues with the smoke machine so quite grateful for being that extra row back 😂
⛲ unfortunately I don't know when I will see a show in London. I am happy that Six will come to Rotterdam (NL) and I have tickets 🎉. Did you see the touring cast of Six?
I want to go so bad, I have such a short time frame in London literally 2 days and I think it's sold out both days. Do you know if they have availability at the box office there? Glad you had a great time 😊
soooooo are the two of you now married? noticing rings. food courts are all america. many offer independent eateries while others have commercial corporations offering like a kfc. what did this food venue offer? and yes does make for different interests to be enjoyed
Saw the second preview and am still getting over it! No weak links but my stand out was Jack Wolfe, a star in the making!

I am lame so my favorite bit was when you told us about the big door. :) I love the trivia. It's like a walking tour of bits of London.
I’m loving these mini vlogs from Aeron! Fun to see more of your theater going adventures. 🌧️🌂
I went to see it on Tuesday and really enjoyed it. Do you think they will do a cast recording?
I would LOVE that too

@@AeronJames think it would be good if they did. I think Caissie's vocal does sound a little different from the original.

Ooo! Very intrigued what you think about the London production!
I'm going on Wednesday. I bought the tickets back in October and I'm coming over especially to see it.
You’re in for an incredible time! 😁

Ah amazing!! 🥳🥳🥳
Saw you both last night at La Cages Aux Folles, looking forward to your review of it.
Hope you had a fab time! 😁
Yes, it was fabulous!@@AeronJames

You look lovely as ever Aeron

They are doing standing tickets - believe they have information on their socials / website
Aerons vlogs has such a different vibe to Mickey vlogs can’t explain
I hope that’s not a bad thing 😅🙈
@@AeronJames both of you are iconic with the vlogging camera

Quite an amazing show but so shocking. If you don’t know the story, be prepared for surprises and very emotional scenes. Well worth seeing though.
I´m so looking forward to seeing this show!! 💦
💦💦💦 we got drenched too! Hope it comes back for more, loved it!
