I was lucky enough to catch this production 3 times! Once in July, a matinee in September and an evening on the last week of the run. One of my most treasured theatre experiences, being outside and having the sun set just adds another level of magic. I think the July setting was most special as the sun set throughout the show and it was warmer! What a fantastic production and cast 👏
I saw this production on a whim during a recent London trip, with no knowledge of Fiddler on the Roof (apart from its reputation), and it absolutely blew me away. I can't believe it's 60 years old! It's insane how relevant it feels, and I didn't find that any of the songs felt dated at all. I wish I could have seen it a second time.
This show will always have a special place in my heart, as it was my first community theatre show! Nowadays, I’m part of the orchestra, but I still have fond memories of then!

In '81 I saw a revival of the Jerome Robbins original production at the New York State Theater. That was a very special experience.
I saw it early in the run and loved it so much I went back for a second go.
