I find November and January are the best times to go to Orlando.
I agree went last January and it was amazing still hot enough and no crowds
Also right after spring break (around March-April) since after spring break, almost no one is there.
I got to get on hagrids at 30 mins, and veloci at 25

Me and 1 of my friends went the day after a hurricane and went in the single rider lines and got to ride almost every ride there in 1 day . too.

Important tip for first time universal travelers, if it’s raining and a ride is closed when they open it back up be ready to run and get on the ride. I only had to wait 15 minutes for hagrids ride when that happened

A tip for people heading to universal:
On the app, wait lines are usually doubled for guest satisfaction when they got on wayyy earlier than expected. For hagrids it said it was a 2 hour wait, however it was more of a 45-1 hour wait.
Velocicoaster at night is so good
Well, it’s good for everybody but me because I went to velocicoaster at night and I fainted so that wasn’t a really good experience 😂😂😂 it was too strong for me

Me and my brother got to ride front row on Velocicoaster at night and it was so cool!!

Just use the fast pass, we went last summer and rode velocicoaster 6 times, 3 front row, 2 backrow, 1 middle, hulk a few times, hagrids twice, and literally every other ride in the park as well
Fast pass can’t be used on Hagrid’s.

@JoseGarcia-gu4ub hargrids we went twice first thing at park open, got there almost front of line at the start and got a lucky front seat, then hopped back in line after!
Better hack is allay go singles ride. You get on much faster and let’s be honest. You’re not watching your family or friends when on the coaster, you’re looking at all the scenery and listening to the voiceovers if any.
You should ride Dudley do right at night! It’s a really fun experience!

Rainy days are the best. I just posted a short about how much better rainy days at cedar point are. (As long as the weather clears back up)
You can do basically everything relevant through single-riders. I went a few years ago and did basically everything in both parks. IoA we did Hulk, Spiderman, Popeye, and River Adventure. Then we started doing single-riders and continued to do Forbidden Journey, changed parks and did Gringott's, Men in Black, Transformers, Mummy, and RRR, all in about 9 hours, with everything up to Forbidden Journey taking up half that time. Never did Velocicoaster or Hagrid's as both weren't built yet, and Dueling Dragons had already closed (RIP).

We waited 45 mins for Hagrid’s last week. The best time to go seems to be around lunch time.
I’ve done all rides at both parks multiple times within half of the day. Express helps greatly and singles
I usually go during July and am easily able to do everything in the park then lap back for seconds. One of my favorite parts about universal and why it’s personally my favorite
Fun fact: Mothers Day is often a good day to go as well. I’ve been to Universal twice on Mother’s Day and it’s often not that crowded. One of the two times I was there on Mother’s Day we got a free hotel upgrade, the hagrid ride took about an hour, and I was able to ride forbidden journey 3 times
Hagrids and mummy are so good if you go make sure to do those
I went in June 2019. I had Express Pass and I was staying at a Premier-level hotel. I was by myself and I was able to enter the park 30 min before rope-drop.
I had to stop and leave the parks because I was meeting family after lunch and could've easily done every major attraction at both parks before my family got there.
This isn't a diss to Universal Orlando. It attests to how easy and accessible it is. I love it there. It's better than WDW in so many ways.
It rained at universal when we got there while we were waiting in the line for hagrids motot bike adventure. We had to wait 3 freaking hours because it was raining. It was such a long wait. Everyone in the line was beginning to sit down. Everyone acted like it we were in the great depression. But then, when the staff said they were **Just** gonna move us forward, it had everyone yapping, cheering, and clapping.
This ride was absolutely worth it, though! I loved it. Definitely recommend it!
Orlando resident here. Me and my ex-wife lived in Orlando and had the top of the line season passes. It was about six months before realized that we could go ride one ride and then leave. We could go back as much as we wanted.
if its raining run STRAIGHT to hagrids. it’ll likely be closed but when they open it again a lot of people wont have realized yet and you can get in towards the front of the line. for some reason when i went there was a giant crowd but they had no idea that you enter through the lockers when it rains so we got in like 30th in line.
If you really want to ride Rocket. Definitely do not go on a day when its raining.
Actually dont even go if there's a small cloud. That ride will be shut down even a drop of rain falls down

It’s THE best day of my life by far
The Hulk is my favorite ride there. Most of the rides there are more oriented towards families so a big roller coaster like the Hulk is pretty rare to come across and me being a thrill seeker says a lot.
I went in April at Easter and just saying I will never go on Velociraptor ever again after a 2 hour wait and nearly feeling like I am going to fall into the water on the last corkscrew. However the start was very good I like how fast the coaster goes
i have a story for hagrids me and my mom went in line and we were in line for like 1 and a half hours and it was like 90 degrees out but anyways when we could see the entrance to get on the ride we were so happy. this is the good part, we were like the second people to get on the ride and it broke down right as we were about to get on. we ended up waiting for at least another 30 minutes and our phones were at like 20 percent so we couldn’t do much. but we finally got on it and we were in line for almost 4 hours but it was worth it, it was sooo fun
I remember riding Spider-Man ride when I was 7 years old and it was absolutely amazing! Total all time classic
The velocicoaster was one of my favorites! The other rides were good too 🙂
A friend and I rode Dueling Dragons continuously, trying every seat. I started on Blue and they started on Red. When we finished one dragon we switched to the other. We were able to do this because it had rained all day and night, and it was raining that day, so the crowds were thinned out. During the day, it rained again, shutting down most of the rides. We hung out until the park closed, riding the coaster another eight times before we got kicked out of the park.
I just went last week and it was great. Waiting lines are pretty much 30 mins or less including hagrids
With an Express Pass and the off season, you can run through both Universal and Islands of Adventure in a single day.
I remember I was with some buddies and we rode the mummy ride 13 times in a row😂😂😂😂 the staff thought it was funny enough to go on it with us!
I go to the hollywood universal, and once, we went after it rained, and everything was a 5-10 minute wait. It was amazing.

Really depends on the time of year you go, I’d say September is the best because of how all the kids are going BACK to school

Now let’s say you’re a graduating high school student living in Florida, Universal has a special event just for them called “Grad Bash” where from opening to 1AM students reign the park and other guests are to leave early. I’ve been to Grad Bash a month ago I’ve been on almost every ride😅
The Spider man Coaster was so good I road it like 30 times back in the day
I was there early this spring and the rides took forever, it was my first time going and is an experience I'll never forget. I also went to seaworld which wasn't as cool but seeing universal and seaworld in videos brings back those great memories. I didnt get to go on hagrids motorbike cuz the wait was over 2 hours which was a bummer

I remember when my teacher said she went to universals and went on the Mummy with her son. When they got to the part where it shows the little skit (which that’s what she said it does) of the dude with the beetles or something. The air shoots up but they were down in the dark for a LONG time without people noticing their disappearance- so it closed for the rest of the day
One time hagrid was 30-15 minutes for me, we rode it 3 times, that is the first time I rode a rollercoaster more than once on the same trip.
For me hagrids was super hyped up for a ride that wasn’t worth the wait. Velocicoaster was incredible tho.
If you stay at a premiere hotel for the unlimited express pass and go in September(lower crowds), you can indeed ride everything in a single day.
I went there yesterday and Hagrids was like a 110 minute wait lol 45 minutes is a dream.
Hagrids is a MUST. But the only thing I'm scares of which I'm usually never scared of anything is.. THE WAIT TIME, I went to the ride and the line extended out about 170 minutes..
i remember some time around last year or before, me and my family went velocicoaster first thing in the morning and waited like 7 hours in line only to find out it was down
then we got express passes to hagrids
I went a couple of times back in May when they were letting in UOAP holders in the IoA exit. Early park was at 8AM both days and I was off Hagrids by 8:05.... Outside of that I like going after 4PM and using the free express rides that come with my premier pass.

I’ve been there and me and my mom found out that the quickest way to go to your favorite rides is to do single riders which we were both fine with
Me and my family woke up at 7 just to be early to hagrids and even then we had to wait three hours. But thankfully the ride malfunctioned halfway through and we got to ride it again immediately

I went to universal 2 weeks ago and it was the time of my life, and my family and I rode all the rides
MIB is so good it looked scary what the sign said at the beginning but then it was really fun I rode it like 20 times
I waited 3hours on line for velocicoaster only for it to close down but the rest was amazing!
Just went there Friday had a blast
I went on a weekend in April and was able to do everything multiple times. However I always used the single rider line so most rides were a walk on when the regular queue was 30 minutes to an hour
Somehow whenever we go, it takes less than a day to ride all of them. I don’t know how, but somehow we do it every time 🤷♀️

When I went to universal I had a 4hr 45min wait but it was so worth it for Hagrid’s magical adventure
man when i was a kid i hit every ride at least once. and a few favorites multiple times. no excuses
I’m sick of the rip ride rocket hate. It’s unique and definitely fun. Keep it universal and find space for something else creative.
For hagrid’s long story short my brother was barely tall enough but the lady was worried we wouldn’t get on because someone might say he was too short and we rode twice with absolutely zero line

Be ready besides long lines of waiting to ride a certain ride it may experience a delay which would cause you a longer wait time which include forbidden journey Hagrid s veloci coaster etc
I waited 2 hours for Harris’s! 45 min is the best time to get on.
I went during the middle of summer and knocked out every ride and came back for not seconds, not thirds, not fourths, but SIXTHS. Good thing to have a fast pass.

I got there at opening time ( 8 AM because I was staying at the hotel ) and left at 7pm, I got on EVERYTHING
My brother and I went in New Year’s Day and went on every ride at least once but went in the velocicoaster three times.

used to go there every year as a kid/teen, my family had a whole routine for how to get as many rides in our visit and still eat and spend a few hours playing games to get poor quality crap to bring back

@@SwiftTelly20 huh, how did you come to that conclusion? i very much did enjoy them and my comment was supposed to be a nostalgic "i miss those times" kind of thing. i meant the stuff you exchange for tickets from those arcade games, the quality of those has never been good anywhere but we still got them because they were fun
My record is 16 rides in one day. Well technically 15 rides and the Jason Bourne show. Only possible with express passes

When I was at universal there were a bunch of rides only I wanted to go on so I went in the single riders lane and walked up and got on the ride, there was otherwise over an hours wait.
