Played a show with him back in the 90's (when Klaus Fluoride of the Dead Kennedys was his bass player) and he was a hoot! One of the most memorable shows of my life! Thank God this man entered the music industry because his shows were off the hook!!!

Back around 1970 a friend of mine won a contest put on by a local radio station. Her "prize" was a box full of 45 singles that the station was NEVER going to play. She gave them all to me. It was all junk except for "Paralyzed" by The Ledge. It was my introduction to weird music (I was 15) and I never looked back.

I saw him perform in the late 80's when his opening act...or was it the other way around?.... was Buck Naked and the Bare Bottom Boys. It was Psychobilly and Pornobilly all in one night.
    It was...amazing.
If you liked The Legendary Stardust Cowboy... Then you _need_ to look up Buck Naked and the Bare Bottom Boys. It seems like hat someone stole the name on Spotify. But he did a Joan Rivers show at one point and his music might be on RUclips.
... you'll know it when you hear it....and see it.
