I was trying to figure out what I liked & why & then you said that floral/pink scrapbook paper wasn’t “old worldy” enough! BINGO! That’s it! That’s exactly what I prefer! Thank you so much for coming up with that description! These little bags are so pretty, another nice ephemera piece!
These are so pretty. Tfs Hope you have a fun weekend. I am celebrating my 60th birthday this month so going away for a couple weeks with hubby. Staying in BC Canada but going to the southern interior where it is warm. Lots of wineries in the area so will be sampling the local wines. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies grown in the area as well so will be enjoying that too. 💞🤗🇨🇦💕
I thought maybe I was going to see you create something that I didn't think was very pretty. But you kept changing your mind until you got it and it's beautiful
Just had to laugh when you said about using your scraps and having nothing to play with, I started to collage this morning, dipped my hand into the scraps basket and hit the bottom 😆. What have I done? Great scramble and I’m still not happy with what I have so just as you said, I’ll have to craft more. Loved your giggle when you said about the label 😁. Thanks Rachel.💕
I love making these flips, so fun! I sent you one for your Birthday that I made. I forgot about making these, I think I will mass make some. Thanks for sharing! 😊🌸😊
Oh my goodness, that brown flowery paper is just IRREDEEMABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your usually impeccable taste in papers took a brief siesta when that guy showed up!!!! ;-) BTW, congrats on getting the washing started!! The war has started on the evil procrastination....well, at least a decent skirmish! (I have a TERRIBLE habit of that as well...)
Then had to explain the 🐦. I heard Lulu cough, I hope she's feeling much better. This is a 3day weekend in the US but sinuses have me staying in and crafting and napping. Wed it's supposed to get down into the 60s, can't wait. Probably go back up to 90s a week later lol.
Those birds are pretty. I know so unlike me to comment good. I have to get my quota in before you go. However I know you’re already gone but I’m pretending. Oh holy roller I’m giggling.
Hi -- gosh, I'm No. 1 -- you are away on another holiday? My mouse broke and "same day" delivery from Amazon was adjusted to: it's on its way, but running late. The world has gone crazy here in my little city -- there were literally two shoot-outs within hours of each other -- hundreds of bullets flying -- at 2:00 in the afternoon -- so I waited instead of going out or sending my son -- I was having Rachel withdrawal -- we found the big box the tv came in up in the attic, so I decided to pack it away, It looks like we may be here for awhile, for which I'm grateful. Lucky for us, the owner got a federal loan to purchase and refurbish the house, and under the federal cares act, they cannot evict through Dec. 31st, 2020 -- which no one told me about or anyone else -- the only reason I know is because the Va. supreme court denied the appeal by the governor to halt all evictions -- we're talking literally 4,000 in Richmond alone -- 4,000 people -- and that's just the first round of eviction cases in the court -- sorry -- I don't mean to go down that road -- I'll soon be 64 and for the first time in my life I am afraid -- afraid to go out -- afraid for my son to go out -- thank you for making and posting these videos. I love them, and not only do I learn so much, and drool over your fabric and paper collections -- I won't talk about the lace and the beautiful handwork you and your "ses" and mother do -- it is incredibly gorgeous -- Lulu will realize when she is older how lucky she is to be born of parents who adore her, we won't go to the extended family who adore her -- but she is raised in love and encouragement to follow her own star, not one dictated to her -- I went to a private school, and at the beginning of 8th grade, every student goes to the guidance counselor the first days of the new year and you plot out your life -- I'm serious -- I wanted to get a degree in political science and go that route, which I'm so glad the Universe intervened -- but the lady I babysat for, her father was a lawyer in a large city, and she told me to be a court reporter -- I said: what is that -- she told me, and I said: okay -- I'll be that -- this is a true story -- so I met with the guidance counselor and told her I was going to be a court reporter, and she actually had brochures from the best court reporting school in the country, and we plotted my education and life -- but here's the rub -- the brochure was there because my science teacher's daughter, who was older than me, maybe a junior or senior, decided to be a court reporter -- her father was the county attorney where she lived -- and she's the one they ordered it for -- well, skip to June 1976, and I had an interview for a job in Richmond -- which is a big deal, I'm from a really small town -- and during the interview, in walks Jane who was also applying for a job -- and we were both hired -- and she continues to work in the field today -- amazing story, huh? Anyway, the Universe has guided me to your beautiful channel, and I know I speak for so many others who don't leave novellas for comments, they feel the same -- kindred spirits all -- and -- as I was packing, I had this huge book in a gallon size zip lock bag, and it turned out to be a compendium of three of the Anne books after green gables -- one is called Anne of Avonlea -- if you can, try to find the series with Megan Fellows -- I may have misspelled her name -- she is Anne -- and the actor who played Gilbert could not be more wonderful -- at the thrift store one day, I found the entire collection of the Anne series for 25 cents apiece -- I, of course, purchased them -- I already had Green Gables in hard back -- and I spent the summer reading and reading -- maybe we should all pack up and move to Prince Edward Island where -- I looked up visiting there many years ago -- but the houses still have in their kitchens wood burning cooking stoves -- just like my grandmother -- big sigh -- sorry to go on so much -- but I've been silent for three days -- ha. -- Hugs, Patricia
Here I am -- again !! Sorry -- but a cool suggestion? So I cut my glassine bags in half heightwise, which left two skinny pieces -- and I saw these gorgeous tall skinny tags on Pinterest -- if I find the link I'll edit and post it -- so while I was digging around looking for papers, my glassine bag landed on top of a page, and I got this weird idea, but it's really cool -- I'm going to make several of those tags at one time because I want to sew -- y ou don't have to, you can use hot glue, regular pva, whatever you have -- you can handstitch on top of glue, no sewing machine necessary -- I'm going to post a video before the end of this century, I hope, and maybe I can show you what I mean -- you have the image the length of your glassine bag -- you can use acetate, just see through -- a window envelope -- and on the back of the bag, glue the printed image face up so that it's showing through the bag -- then you can decorate the bag a little on the sides or bottom, not the middle to cover the image, then insert your tall tag, and when you pull the tag out, you have this beautiful image -- mine's a bird in a cherry tree with blossoms -- okay -- here is the link; I can't believe I actually remembered where I first saw them -- this is Susie at Creativecafegirl -- she makes the best stuff -- I think she got the idea from a magazine she really likes called Somerset Studio (just giving credit so no one gets upset at Rachel; full disclosure here) but I'm combing YOUR idea with HER idea and a little of MY idea -- now, how fun is that, and how I am going to spend my holiday -- although I'm home everyday -- big hugs -- hope you're having fun wherever life has taken you -- P ruclips.net/video/14LP7jJHq8I/видео.html

This looks like real fun. Fast and easy. Could you tell me where you got your scissors. They are just what I need. Thank you.
I buy most of my scissors in Oz when I'm there. The store is called Spotlight, they have a great variety. Thank you so much!

Love watching you play!! What weight of paper do use to print all your digi on ?? Please
I print them on 80gsm (regular copy paper) or 120gsm if i want a slightly heavier paper. Thank you so much!
No plans. Had to have a Covid test on Friday. Isolated till results are back.:(
Doc just being careful with her “GERIATRIC “ patients! Does that mean “OLD”?
I hope you are ok!!!! Let me know!
@@sandrairish9989 I think they are being careful with everyone here now!
What digi are you using here just love the papers
I am using some from my shop. I think I linked most of them in the description box. Thank you so much!
which printer are you using?
I use an HP8715 and Epson ET 2750
I said " a label" and cracked up. My hubby was looking at me like I was crazy. So I had to explain about Sherry and labels lol.
Hahaha that's so funny!
@Yvonne Farrell You're poor hubby!
You must have needed the extra sleep. 🥰
I think we did!!!
Where do you buy your beautiful double sided paper ???
I buy them at a shop near me. They are by Stamperia.
Thanks! Actuality hard to find !!!
How is Lulu? Last I heard she was headed to dr. Or maybe you said and I just missed it.
She is on the mend just has a little cough.
No pooping now for that bird. You naughty person (she says with a bit of a naughty grin herself )
Oh dear, poor birdie!
Those birds are pretty. I know so unlike me to comment good. I have to get my quota in before you go. However I know you’re already gone but I’m pretending. Oh holy roller I’m giggling.
