- Had a fantastic weather opportunity in October to take the family to the Oregon Coast. We wanted to give the kids a weekend to remember so we went on a sandrail tour of the Oregon Dunes with Sandland Adventures out of Florence, Oregon. I wasn't compensated by Sandland Adventures in any way to make this video, but we had a great time and I wanted to make a video of it and give them a shout out. We did the 1/2 hour ride and it was fantastic. The kids had a blast. lt was like a LONG roller coaster ride. I put the whole ride pretty much into the video (with a few of the slower sections edited down), so if you can't make it to the Oregon coast you can still have the full dunes experience by watching this ride-along.

I camp right behind the buggy place, enjoyed the video!
Awesome video! I was there last weekend as a newbie, driving my own Jeep and I barely did 2% of what was shown here, lol. I think my wife and I will definitely have to book one of these tours the next time we are down there!
That would be a nice job! just drive sandrails all day!
2:20 sat at that exact spot last summer in my RZR. Small dunes compared to Glamis and Dumont but you can’t beat how pretty it is there.
We went on the yellow one.. defiantly was fun.for the price it's a great deal
Went on these a few years go there. I was amazed at how fast and how much power those big dune buggies have. I was also amazed no one crashed into each other lol
Wow , we had the same driver couple of days ago. His name is Dan , he was amazing and we had a great experience ❤️😍
I did this too! Super fun time.
Thanks for this video. I was trying to decide if I would join my family on this tour or not, and your video helped me make my decision. :)
Looks like serious fun. Im going to have to check them out.
Every time I pass one of these on my quad everyone always takes pictures of me 😂
Beautiful family brother. Would you suggest booking the 1 hour tour for just me and my wife? Did the half hour leave you craving a longer ride?
For us the 1/2 hour ride was fine. Actually, I'm getting old enough that I don't do so well on roller coasters any more and this is VERY much like a roller coaster. I didn't get sea-sick or anything, but I was about done after 1/2 hour. It's strange, I don't have any issue when I'm the one driving on stuff like this, but if I'm a passenger, that's when I get dizzy. The one hour tour on the website right now says they do 19 miles of dunes and 1 mile of beach. The 1/2 hour tour doesn't go down to the beach. I grew up near here and did a lot of time driving and riding on these dunes in trucks and bikes. Going down to the beach is fun. If you're from out of the area it would be pretty cool to get all the way down to the beach. There are very few places in Oregon where you can actually get a vehicle down and drive/ride on the beach legally.
@@WheeliePete Thank you so much for the detailed description! I appreciate it. I am going to the Florence area next month for my honeymoon and and wasn't sure what exactly to expect. Cheers!
Great video!! How long was your tour? Ride along the beach at all?
It was the 1/2 hour ride. They didn't go all the way out to the beach on this one, but there was plenty of ocean view. This area is one of the rare ones in Oregon where you can drive drive one the beach though.
Nice
I'll have been on a bike in those dunes for 25 years not day goes by that there's not special.
We just got back from the dunes! ruclips.net/video/Nv77Ejc81QU/видео.html
