i didnt skip the video but when i try to install it it shows browse for a folder and in the folder of the car i downloaded with the installer in it it shows only the folder but not the u2.car file, becuase when i click on a folder it shows that it failed,and i get get into the actuall setup

What if I wanted to change the car back to Supra? Would I be able to put the back-up files of the Supra back into the "SUPRA" folder and that would be it?

For those who get Failed to open file: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Need For Speed Underground 2\GLOBAL\Globalb.lzc:
1. Place CFG installer in the directory of the game
2. Make sure you create a backup of the original car
3. Recopy the modded files in the desired car folder
4. Run CFG as admin
5. Repeat the steps in the video

I can’t get the car installer to work mine has a little white paper and for some reason yours has an NFS logo.. I’ve been at it for about an hour and it pissing me off

i friend, i don't undersand where put the backup files of the originals cars for fix the "ghossts" caars, previosly i copy all the carpet of cars for make a backup, what i don't now where put those

alright the installation didnt work but i have the car in the game? And it works without me instaklling it, and the car isnt a stock car either. so no cpmplains
That's weird. CFGInstaller doesn't even want to extract itself out of the zip file.
The other .exe files do work tho. Huh. Does anyone know why this happens even?

I honestly don't know,i never made a backup for a single car i always just backed up the whole NFS U2 folder and used that after a mod broke my game..

The CFG Installer did not work. I watched the entire video and paid attention, not skipping anything. The CFG installer wont work. It would be helpful if someone could help me out, but nobody probably will. Also, why does my computer keep dectecting the car file with the cfg installer with a virus? If it does, than I lose the file I extract.
Some antivirus programs detect .exe or .dll files as false positives this is a common problem when modding,disable your antivirus until you install a mod,turn it back on later and you will be fine
i went straight to download the mod and did all the instructions but it seems like i broken the game i deleted the mods and still no luck of taking the game to its original state all my cars are there but no body and when i want to race the game kicks me out any advice
you messed it up,now you need to reinstall your game.. i don't get it,why you just don't follow the tutorial from start to finish? i make an extra effort to make the video short as possible and yet there are always people who don't watch it and they come back saying they broke their game.. watch my video from start to finish,i explain everything

how to fix
use the backups you previously made,if you didn't make any you have to reinstall the game,that's why i say "don't skip around in the video" you missed a step or you didn't pay attention to which files you are messing with.. re-watch the tutorial don't skip around it's 5 minutes of explaining everything,not 20 minutes of rambling nonsense like other people do in these tutorials.

if you had done everything as i did,your game won't be broken,i installed more than 3000 mods through the years this exact way. broken game? no problem,just use the backups you created
